The first game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise is set in 1191 AD, when the Third Crusade was tearing the Holy Land apart. Assassin's Creed is an outstanding game. The graphics are breathtaking and the gameplay is as smooth as butter. It can also be quite lack luster and glitchy depending on your gear. The game has fair graphics...not good...but fair. That is the most positive thing I can say about this game. The story is plain terrible--I kept playing hoping it would improve and it only got worse.
