I LOVE THIS GAME
Eragon was one of my first rpg games. I got it because I love the movie. This still is one of my favorite games to play. The story line is very close to the movie. I love being able to switch from the sword to the crossbow. The more you play, the better moves and skills you achieve with the sword and the daggers. Flying the dragon is awesome and having her help you in battles is pretty cool too. Learning to cast magic to help you in battle or solving problems is way fun. As long as you take the time to learn to draw the symbols correctly you will have no problem using the magic you want in any given situation. I am the type of player who likes to savor a good game and enjoy every moment of it, not see how fast I can run through it. Would I recommend this game? ABSOLUTELY!

Absolutely terrible
This has to be one of the worst games ever made for the DS. It is incredibly short, the graphics are a joke, and the story line is thin at best, even when compared to the movie. If you are a fan of the series, take my advice and DO NOT get this game. if you are a fan of good video games, take my advice and do not get this game

awfull
This could possibly be the absolute worst DS game ever created. First of all the length, it is ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. I beat this game in under four hours! 4 Hours can you believe it?!?! And that's with every side-quest I could find (the side-quests are a complete joke by the way). The controls weren't too bad, the archery was kind of weird, but the magic was completely wrong, I mean come on people, you draw the shapes of the symbols on the touch screen BUT they don't always come out right like if you draw a swirly thing (I can't remember what it does) it might come out as a lightning bolt! Shabby workmanship, i say. Another thing is when you fly sapphira you can't turn around. There's possibly 2 hard parts in the whole game when you fight Durza (the coolest character) on sapphira that took me about half an hour and I can't remember the other part (it only took me like 10 minutes). I'm a die-hard eragon fan (finished brisingr a few weeks ago) I was insulted by the storyline there wasn't any real parts were they said anything about the vardon or empire. This game is worse than the movie (which is saying a lot).
