Not As Great
It's very addictive. But some parts are just so hard that it's hard too figure out. I know this might sound strange but i just bought this game a couple days ago. Now i bought the Mega Man Star Force 3 Red Joker. (The only reason i didn't get black ace was because that was the only one available.) I was really excited for Saurian but it's kinda a disappointment. I thought it could be a tad bit easier. Some time those viruses just pop up and i wish there was a repel. (Like in Pokemon.) But i dont think there is. But there could be. Overall this is a so so game. I would recommend this but it like i said. Is really hard. Took me about 16 gamer hours too finish. But still the last battle was really confusing and VERY hard but, I still managed to beat it. If you like long games than pick this one.

Intense gameplay
In the middle of the game, the player unlocks a new ability "Tribe-On" to transforms to one of the form shown in the cover of the two versions: ZerkerXSaurian and ZerkerXNinja. The bosses was fun and intense with fast rough gameplay that totally rocks! Defeated bosses appear around certain areas as a rare hunt for rematches. Quests was worth doing to receive rewards. I had no idea what the genre was for this installment. BrotherBand was an addicting system for gathering brothers via wi-fi to power-up the player Megaman.

An unfulfilling sequel
First of all, I must explain where I'm coming from with this. I have played(and beaten) all the Battle Network and Star Force series MegaMan games. I'm a big fan and still play them today.
That said, this game was a major disappointment. The Star Force series has never been, and never will be, as good as Battle Network. However, the first game of the series was still extraordinarily well done. The story was well executed, the characters were fairly well developed and at the end there was a definite feeling of satisfaction. They left it open for a sequel, which I looked forward to.
Then this game came out. I picked it up on release day, having pre-ordered and paid in full ahead of time. I went home, loaded it into my DS and started playing. It wasn't long before I realized that I really hadn't gotten what I'd hoped for.
The story was sub-par, mostly trapped by the fact that the first game had actually wrapped up most of the plot holes pretty neatly by the end. This meant in many ways they had to overhaul the gameplay and add new elements, many of which felt more annoying than fun. Once the special powers were received, they always felt sort of overcomplicated and much less explained than they should've been.
The plot was slow to get started, quick to finish, and left me feeling unsatisfied(make as many jokes about this as you want). The main character had overcome most of his flaws in the first game and for some reason they assumed that this meant he should always have his picture in the dialogue as smiling, which honestly got rather creepy and seemed sort of weird when he was obviously angry at someone. There were some things that seemed re-hashed from the original game as well, which got frustrating.
However, it was still worth playing, and at it's current very reduced price probably well worth it. Play it at least to get to 3. The third game actually fixed a lot of the problems with this game.

This Game RULEZ!!!!
If you have ever played any MegaMan games of any age and liked it even slightly, you will not be able to stop playing this game until it's 100% done. In this game, either version, the challenge is good, but there are tons of ways to make it easier with online help. Your control is pretty basic, but very functional. The sound is good quality. About the same as every other MegaMan games' music. There's not much character customization, but you can choose names and general age group your character is in. The graphics in this game are actually very good considering it's on a DS. The length of the game is kinda short, much shorter than other MegaMan games. It took me 24 gameplay hours to beat the game, and 2 other friends beat it in 35 GPH (gameplay hours) and 17 GPH. And the storyline of this game was very good. Nothing too crazy for the game, but keeps you playing. If you like pokemon, zelda, or RPG in general, you would love this game!

Can't wait
I can't wait for this game to come out, I played this game in japan and it ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In saurian, you use a thing called a oopart to transform into Three similar to the "Satellite Administrator" transformations from the 1st Mega Man Star Force game exist in Star Force 2. These transformations consist of "Wood Ninja" (Green Shinobi), "Fire Saurian" (Fire Dinosaur), and "Elec Zerker" (Thunder Berserk), and are activated by using a technique called "Tribe On" once Geo and Omega-Xis find a special artifact (identified in-game as an "oopart"). Using a technique called "Double Tribe," two of the three transformations can be combined to create one of six possible combinations: "Ninja Saurian" (Shinobi Dinosaur), "Ninja Zerker" (Shinobi Berserk), "Saurian Zerker" (Dinosaur Berserk), "Saurian Ninja" (Dinosaur Shinobi), "Zerker Ninja" (Berserk Shinobi), or "Zerker Saurian" (Berserk Dinosaur). You can also transform into all 3.
