Can we ever have enough Tetris?
So many Tetris titles on some many platforms in so many versions. Which one to buy? This game is everywhere! Now it graced it addictive ways onto the DS. SIx different modes, six different ways to enjoy Tetris. The most recoginizable is the Standard Mode, whereby you play the original Tetris with no bells and whistles added... asides from the eye candy that appears on the top screen that reacts to your line-clearing ways. Also the fact that whenever you spin a "T-block" rapidly, you see a flahing logo that says "T-SPIN!" as if it was some skateboarding trick. What is this? "Tony Hawk Pro Skater Tetris?" I digress. Anyway, then we have Push mode, where both screen show the action of two players pushing each others blocks down to the ground (or through the roof) by clearing lines against each other. Then there's Touch mode, the DS-hardware advantage-taking mode whereby you clear a tower of block by slidig blocks and making lines as best as possible. Then there's Puzzle mode, which a typical Teris puzzle mode whereby you must clear EVEYTHING using a set of pieces. Mission mode has you doing different Tetris-related things in order to progress, but gets harder as you go along. Then again, that mode also screws you over early if you're unlucky enough to get a nearly impossible mission and have a tight time limit. Then finally, Catch mode, in which you must assemble Tetris pieces like in Katamari Damacy in order to make the configuration explode and perhaps destroy the Metriods in the process (Yes, you read that right, Metriods.) All this and it's a fun Tetris package. I somehow fell that this collection of Tetris variations feel empty, like something is missing. I feel they could've been more creative with the touch screen and other things and maybe perhaps add more gameplay variations to the ones they already have. This game may last, but only for so long before you realize there's not much else to do when you finish the Puzzle mode, the Touch puzzles, get ridiculously high scores in various modes, etc. Luckily, that's what multiplayer is for. Nothing beats the satisfaction of beating a human opponent (or the anguish of being beaten by one.) Heck, go head to head around the world if you want, there's Wi-Fi capability with this game! All I can say is, you may fare well with other Tetris titles, but this one is a fine choice if want to get your daily dose of Tetris on the go.

The best tetris ever!
This game is addicting as a drug! It is probably the best game for the ds and that's quite a title. Now you think I already on a version of tetris why should I get a new one. 5 new modes and up too 10 players online with a single game card and no friend codes! Even if you don't have Wi-Fi you can play a computer. Everything about this game is awesome the controls are tight the simple 8-bit graphics with detailed backgrounds. Probably the best thing is the music remixes of classic nintendo games. The only problem with the game is the infinite spin that gives you as long as you can to put your block down as long as its moveing but thats the only down side. The new game modes are awesome and you might find yourself playing them more than the regular game. Well I hope this helped you decide if you want to buy this excellent game.
