Shadow the Hedgehog
This game lets you learn more about Shadow!
Well, I'm 15, a girl and I love the game. The game I have says rated E10+ , not for everyone. It does say some curses, but they aren't really bad curses. "...." and "...." aren't bad curses. I've been saying that since I was about 12 and I'm not a bad kid, it's just vocabulary. You may not like it, but it's around us everyday.
Anyways, the game has a really good story line. I like how you can choose whether to be on the evil or good side. When I saw that Shadow was holding a machine, I was ecstatic. I thought it was beyond cool. It's much easier to shoot faraway targets than to do the homing attack and risk losing all your rings. By listening to the story, I understood the game "Sonic DX: Director's Cut" a little better too. I wish I played this game first so I would have understood why Shadow wanted the chaos emeralds, too. There's a lot of action and the graphics are really nice to me. The only thing that got me mad is that I always seem to jump over the edges by accident due to using the homing attack and the camera angles can me kind of weird too. Other than that, there's not really any other cons to the game.
Just to say, this game is based around SHADOW, not SONIC. It's not a sonic the hedgehog game, it's a shadow the hedgehog game. Shadow is considered to be a dark character, which is why I find it understandable that he has guns and says "...." and "....". If you don't like that, then the game might not be for you. Other than that, I really like this game and highly recommend it.
- You get to play as SHADOW
- You learn more about Shadow
- The guns are good for long distance attacks
- The graphics are nice
- Alternative endings
- You can choose to be on the evil, good or neutral side.
- The explosions can be confusing
- The camera angles can get confusing
- IF YOUR A CONCERNED ADULT: it does say "...." and "....", but I don't find that bad.
Worst 3D Sonic game ever
This is definetly one of the worst games ever developed by Sega,in first place, the Glitches,ALL the levels have at least 20 glitches,in second place,Shadow is super slippery,in third place, looks more like a Halo game than a Sonic game and in last place the voice acting is terrible.Shadow the Hedgehog is one of the worst games ever developed by Sega and a big insult to the Sonic saga
the games is so cool i used to have it but im going to get it again because when i was little i always start a new games everyday because i did not like saving. but this time i will play it again but the problem is the swearing that shadow says and how long it would last to play to get all of the endings to make it to the final match. but i do like the game and shadow is awesome!
fun for every one just an awesome game
cool game perfect for some one who is looking for an action game some shooting but overall is awesome
very powerful at some points and sad
I have not played this game yet but i scene it on youtube and it looks amazing that shadow has a gun.
very great sonic game
this was a very good game back then the grapics in some cutscenes were AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the gameplay was great yes i know the normal endings are the same but after you complete every stage you get last story and it is a REALLY good ending the theme song and opening are great and yes i know the bosses before the normal ending are too easy but wait until you fight devil doom but seriously get this game if possible it is great and you can play these main paths evil, normal, hero, when i played it and got into it enough i loved it best gamecube game ever 10/10 for me
Breathtaking first level!
I love the first level of the game. The reason for only the first level is , because that is all of the disk that can be read! I am very unhappy!
Good but isn't real sonic game
first of all this is NOT! a sonic game, while a sonic game is something like a racing/platformer,this game is more like a third person shooter/platformer that being said it's still a decent game.CONTROLS: ok but alittle touchy at times. GRAPHICS: average for a game cube game, although the CGI cut scenes are impressive. STORY: unless you are a sonic fan who liked sonic battle 2 the story will make ZERO sense otherwise you might find it interesting. SOUNDTRACK: awesome if you like hard rock/ nu metal otherwise it will get annoying. GAMEPLAY: you basically jump around and shoot/punch/vaporize EVERYTHING THAT MOVES! definitly not a traditional sonic game.
this is the worst game i played from Sega. WHY!? Why did you guys put bad words in a SONIC GAME FOR CRYING OUT Loud
This game is perfect for nobody.
Without a doubt, the worst game I've ever played. This Sega's attempt to give Shadow a decent story, but they failed miserably. It was a game where you could choose Shadow to be a hero, a villain, or neutral. But Sega presents that concept to you in a terrible way. A good way would be to ask you at the start of level, then you'd have one objective. Instead, About a quarter way through the level, Another hero character will appear asking you to "help" them (AKA, do everything for them) with their task. Then another quarter into the level an evil floating starfish thing asks you to do what it wants. Depending on what person you want to help determines what path Shadows. Just going straight to the ends results in a neutral path. Sounds like a good setup, but the NPCs constantly ask why you aren't doing what they told you. The plot also pretty lame on the neutral path. Also, Shadow constantly curses. Not that I've got a problem with cursing, I hear everyday, but every time you take damage, die, or lose all your lives is just pointless. Believe me, I could on, but I think you've gotten my point by now.
