Headphone jack gave out within a day.
I bought this ipod for myself and the first thing i noticed is that the headphone jack would give out with just the tiniest pressure pressing on the back of the jack. Within a day and a half the headphone jack did not work anymore. I guess that i am one of the unlucky ones after reading all the reviews that everyone else posted about how great it was. I'm trading it in for another one HOPING that this one does not give out on me...

Great product, that breaks.
I got this iPod touch as a present. I got it home and charged it with an official Apple brand charger. It works fine, but all of a sudden on the second charge, it doesn't charge. I turn it on, ( any apple product should have a plug in flash on the screen to get you to charge it) the symbol didn't show up, the iPod didn't start. I'm getting another after having mine broken in four hours. Yeah, what a good product.

This iPod touch is the worst Apple product I ever used #1 Dosen't have camera #2 Can't upgrade iOS #3 Crashes #4 Can't download lots of apps on app store #5 Slow #6 Choppy I'm getting 5G

nice and fun
not a 4 gen but really nice for the price but i have an IBM and it thick my ipod is a camera/scanner that means a cant get music but its cool and fun

It's cool.
It may not have everything that the 3rd gen can do, but it's still awesome. Today, kids at my school with 4th gens are a little jealous since the kids with 2nd gens have had their iPods for longer. Well, other than that, this model IS cheaper, so you should buy it!

Alright.
I've had an iPod touch 2nd gen for about 2 years now and it works fine. It's kinda slow, but besides that fact the iPod is great! I would recommend this to people who like to play apps and listen to music, however if it was cheaper more people would buy it. I give it a 9/10! :)

Not worthy
The on/off button doesn´t work, so it has to be recharged every day. We can download apps, but they don´t open. I got the equivalent to a mp3 with a browser/wifi. We miss a lot the camera. Therefore, US$ 139 for a generation 2 is too high.

Ipod Works great, decent memory, all the features work. only bad thing the ear buds gave out within a month.

I bought the ipod touch gen 2 for my son for Christmas and still cannot get any games to load no instructions came with it. I have only been able to burn cd's that is it.
