2K Ultimate Bundle 10 10 1 1

I can't believe this even exists I just stumbled upon this while messing around on the Gamestop.com site..... this might be the greatest collect of entertainment that has even been bundled together. This collection of games has probably killed literally thousands of hours of my life.... All of this being said there are a few things to know if you are thinking of getting this: I gave the graphics and sound a "10" because all of the games, at the time of their release, had good graphics. Now the important stuff: PLAY THE GAMES IN ORDER..... or at least don't start with the most recent one in a series. If you play civ 4 it will ruin civ 1-3 and the same goes for all of the series. If you go in order (you might have to skip the VERY earliest ones because they are just too old and outdated... I don't know because it's been a while since I've played them) XCOM is a UFO-defense game where you get funding from different governments and have to shoot down UFOs, kill aliens, research their technology, then find where the aliens are coming from and take them out. This series is AMAZING for the more thinking-inclined out there.... 1 or 2 of the games strayed from this formula and I never played them (i heard they were bad but don't remember) but XCOM 1, XCOM 2, and XCOM Apocalypse are amazing wonderful games. The Civilization series has you in control of a nation and you start in 4000BC and go through time molding the nation as you see fit. Perhaps the most addictive series I've ever played and I cannot recommend it enough. You'll keep saying to yourself "just one more turn.... need to finish building that Tank Brigade/ICBM/Swordsman/Pyramids/whatever..... and then you'll notice that not only have you played all night but you are already late for work. It can be THAT engrossing. Bioshock is along the lines of the old System Shock games and is a FPS with an amazing story. You modify your own DNA to get abilities like fire, speed, hatching wasps out of your arms. It's almost worth the price of this whole package. Borderlands has less of a story then Bioshock but can be just as fun... you run around a planet that looks like a crazy comicbook and basically kill things and keep collecting really cool guns/bombs/abilities. This, too, is almost worth the price of this whole package. There is probably more content that I haven't hit upon but it's bound to be good. Hey, even if it isn't what I've already listed is enough game to literally last you a year if not much, much more depending on how much you play. If you like thinking-persons games, strategy games, don't want to play some mind-numbing button-mashing game you should check this out. You could find them all individually on Amazon or Ebay but I bet with shipping you'd end up spending a good amount more. 1/20/12
