Alright
This game wasn't how I expected it to be, most of your weapons only last you like a 1 min. that really disipointed me along without being able to sprint because he runs like at 2 mph. This is a short review so i'll end it here I give Deadrising 2 a 5/10.

Word of Advice...
DO NOT PURCHASE THE DIGITAL DOWNLOAD.
You are better of purchasing the Game Physically, rather then Download it from Trymedia. Trust Me... I learned the Hard way.

A Great Game for the PC.
This game is great; it is unique, entertaining, and fun all at the same time. The story is of Chuck Green and his daughter Katy. Chuck is an awesome dude. He is a former pro Motorcyclist, and his daughter has been infected by a zombie. Chuck lost his wife to a zombie breakout years before the game actually takes place, which creates a great story and bond between him and his daughter.
Single player:
PROS: Dead Rising 2 brings a lot to the table. Bashing in the heads of zombies for hours at a time, using a multitude of weaponry, is a great experience. The story line is great too, and really adds to the fun and excitement of the game. The game is set in fortune city, which is absolutely awesome. It is a huge map, with many different places to smash zombie skulls. Along with the main storyline, this game also introduces side story lines in the forms of psychopaths and survivors. You encounter psychopaths throughout the game; some are quests, and others must be randomly stumbled upon. The psychopaths really make the game fun; they are really hard to kill, and have great psychotic rants and stories which will make you laugh, or cringe in disgust and fear. Survivors are the people like you: they have survived the horrid outbreak, and you must help them to safety (the safe house: a bunker in the flush royal mall). The survivors are often equipped with weapons and ready for battle, but some may need you to obtain a weapon for them, or may be too hurt or distraught to go on by themselves (in this case, you may have to carry them). There are quite a few psychopaths and survivors in the game, so you are bound to miss some in the first play through. Don't worry though, because you rank, skills, money, lists of killed psychopaths and survivors, and many other things will carry on through your next play through; this feature is very convenient. Although there are plenty of regular weapons in dead rising 2, such as the bowie knife or shotgun, some may find themselves bored with these traditional weapons. If that is the case, then all you must do is combine ordinary things together at a work bench, and viola, a new weapon has been made. Such things as bats and nails can be combined as a deadly weapon, or you could combine a bowie knife and boxing gloves to make wolverine gloves. Either way, these weapons are destructive, gain you extra PP (xp), and last longer than the regular weapons do. Another great thing about DR2, is the graphics. Although they are not perfect, the graphics of the game are quite decent. The environment and zombies are well detailed, and look quite nice. Also, they have managed to pack thousand of zombies onto the screen at one time.
CONS: SAVE POINTS!!! Saving in this game consists of you going to one of the (somewhat few!!) bathrooms in the game. This can be a very convenient feature, but also a very annoying one. In the beginning of the game, I found myself often forgetting to save, and dying only to have to be reset in the bathroom a half hours worth of game play before. This can be extremely annoying, so I must say the lack of checkpoints, or auto save, is a sizable drawback of this game.
Another drawback of this game is the lack of voice acting. Although all cut scenes have voice acting, many parts of the game do not. For example, calls appear as text which can be skipped or lazily read through. Another example is with survivors. Each survivor only has a couple of lines where they actually talk. The rest is, again, filled with annoying text which must be waded through to complete tasks. I fell that the lack of voice acting in this game really hurts it, and doesn't allow the player to get as attached to the characters as they usually would. Another drawback of the game is the time limits. Although they give the game momentum, they are often quite strict, and in some cases, makes the player resent them. Sometimes, killing zombies for hours can be very fun, and during the story, the time limits somewhat prevent it. The final drawback of this game (at least as I see it) can be the difficulty. It often feels like the game puts you up against foes that are way too difficult for your level. All of this can be solved with the painkiller drink (blending 2 hard alcohols or bear together, giving you basic invulnerability for some time), but it still can be quite frustrating at some time, especially when paired with the bathroom saving system.
Multiplayer:
Competitive multiplayer doesn't really bring to much too the game; It is a great way to earn quick money, but other than that it is not as exciting as one would like to hope (although it is really only a small addition to an already complete game). Co-op is a nice addition to the game. It allows you to hang around with your buddy, and help him out for awhile. Some drawbacks to Co-op are that only the host can save it as his main single player story and that when another player is added, he is the exact same Chuck Green.
Other thoughts:
Overall, this game is great, and I would recommend it to anyone. It is an awesome way to spend some free time, and for $40, why the heck not? I was also pleasantly surprised that this game is Games for Windows Live. Although many people do not like this system, I love the addition of the achievements, because I think they add further depth into the game. I really have enjoyed my time playing this game, and will be playing it a lot more. If you are on the fence about this game, just get it. It is great, and you won't be disappointed!! Overall, I give this game an 8.75 out of 10. =)

Disappointing
Hey, the game is ok - but as i see it do not buy it, or maybe im just not a real zombie-game lover. But the game, all you have to do is more or less kill zombies. The graphics arent too good, i like the think where you can glue things together, but else the game isnt worth 40 $.
