Do not listen to reviews
If you like a game where you can go around and kill things make sure you get this game. The multiplayer is fantastic in this game as it is soloable (unless you are a mage) for pretty much anybody and lets you farm and kill stuff as much as you like. I didn't get too far on singleplayer yet, but I still think it is much better then people say it is.

Fun adventuring and questing
Overall Two Worlds has a good classic feel of how a RP game should be or at least in my opinion. Some bugs here and there for the PC and a lacking online mode gave it some negative reviews and they haven't really made it any better since its release. Lots of items, combinations you can explore for potion making, questing (there is LOTS of quests) and epic exploring. I wouldn't go as far to say it's better then Oblivion though although it is a GREAT game and I would be sure pick this game up if you like games like Oblivion though.

Good but short
This game was good until i finished most of the quests. Then it became boring. I would only say it is better than oblivion because they at least made an attempt at online. But i only tried online on the 360 which was terrible. Only because of lag and lack of players, But it gives out generic quests which are fun. At least on the 360. I don't know about the computer. I'm considering getting it on the computer since its only 10$. All in all good game it just needs more things to do in general.

Excellent choice, A LOT of adventure and exploring
If you liked Oblivion, you'll LOVE this game. i have only played the sp part of the game, but it is by far enough for me to give this game a very high review. Other than bugs that have long since been fixed, not sure what there is to not like about Two Worlds. I know I will be there with bells on when Two Worlds II is released soon! Do yourself a favor and try this game out now..

More ACTUAL fun than oblivion
I played and finished oblivion many months before two worlds. The only real similarity between the two is that they are both large game worlds. To me I found oblivion mostly boring because everything leveld with you. Two worlds has better: models, sounds, monsters, storyline, spells and weapons... IMO. To me oblivion felt empty and a lot of the quests were anticlimatic and illogical. Two worlds is classic fantasy with classic fantasy monsters and setting to explore. In oblivion no matter where I went on the map it felt like the same thing over and over. In two worlds when you go to a different part of the map you feel like you have gone somewhere different. Oblivion is prettier than two worlds and unfortunately runs much smoother. That is two worlds only downfall, in single player it can lag and become a slideshow at times. I have a good computer that beats the specs and I have things turned down and it still does it. It if wasn't for this I'd say two worlds would beat the pants off of oblivion.

Excellent game with great controls
I've played other RPGs and MMOs like Gothic 3, Oblivion, Vanguard, Everquest, Wow, etc.. However, I didn't care for Oblivion as the controls were awkward, same with Gothic 3. I like the open ended gameplay, but also like the quests. The graphics in this game are great, no stutters, the sound is excellent, the opening music is awesome, there is a lot of challenge here.. You can run around and die a lot.. It's because it isn't like Oblivion. You can run around and run into really tough stuff, it doesn't just spawn stuff your level like in Oblivion. So, there is plenty of reason to buy better gear, etc. I also read that there is 1000s of armor/weapon options, and you can add say fire damage or whatever to your armor and weapons. This is definitely a fun game. Also the fact that the world is huge makes this a game to keep playing.

One of the worst RPG's I have ever Played.
I have been playing RPG's since I took the sword out of the cave in The Legend of Zelda. I have never played a game that is this terrible. First off, when you start a network game you're thrown into a city that has no exit. The feeling is so static that the developers might as well have saved time and money by just designing a brown cardboard box for your characters to walk around in. You have no idea what you are supposed to do, so you randomly press escape and sift through a vague menu and hope that you can figure out how to enter an actual game zone. (the instruction manual reads as if it were written in 15 minutes.) If you're lucky, you end up creating a game to launch your character into. The quest givers are impossible to find because every NPC looks nearly identical. I started my adventure by wondering DIRECTLY outside of town in search of some monsters to kill. I found some orcs several yards away from the town entrance and engaged in combat. There are seemingly no special skills your character starts off with...and if there are, I certainly couldn't find them. So, I started mashing buttons and clicking my mouse. I barely scratched these orcs. An orc hit me once - that's right - ONCE ...and killed me. I resurrected my corpse, and engaged in combat with the same Orc. BAM...one hit and I'm dead. I did this about 5 times until I finally gave up. I then lured the Orc and some of his Orc buddies into town and let the guards kill them all. To my surprise I was able to loot all of the corpses and sell the goods. I did this about 12 times with various different orcs and other mobs until I acquired around 2000g. I bought some better gear, armor, etc. (here is the first hole of many in the game design that players can exploit.) I decided to take my chances with the orcs again after gaining 9 levels and getting myself some better gear. I engaged a similar Orc again and BAM - dead in one hit. I thought maybe I was in a difficult area, so I created a new game and teleported to a different zone. This proved just as unsuccessful as my first attempt. I then did the best thing I could have done since I bought this game. I pressed the "eject" button on my DVD drive, took out the DVD and threw it in the garbage. Unfortunately, this game will sit in a landfill and not be entirely destroyed for another 1000 years. Too bad I won't be there to witness it.

Two-worlds Just to sum it all up
If your interested in role playing games that show no boundaries this is the game for you. The map in unbelievably huge, and no matter how much you explore on how long you do it for your always gonna find something new. I think it is on the same Bases with Oblivion. They both had their ups and downs. But I liked Two worlds better. It has better graphics, map, character customization. And generally there's a lot more going on in this game with the war n all. But I think it was just to simple minded. The creators of Oblivion Were Geniuses. If u compare the storyline with Two worlds and Oblivion. Oblivion is 10 TIMES BETTER. THe game starts to unfold as u progress through the game. Two worlds what you see is pretty much what your gonna get. Oblivion anything can happen, the smallest action can make the biggest difference. In Two Worlds nothing changes, the orcs dont siege any cities (except the chinese place) that u actually get to be a part of. What I mean is you walk in a house turn around and go back through the loading screen and what do you know new government went from humans to orcs in a second. They should've had cinematics. Of the siege starting when your in the city and you can choose to defend, attack, or flee from the city. To wrap it up Two worlds a great game with a lot of problems that goes to fast. Killer Game for the price!!
I had heard all kinds of crummy reviews on this game and I actually waited till the price went down to pick it up. Either the people who reviewed the game didn't really play it or all the problems are fixed. I liked all the voice acting too and thought it added the right feel to the game. Graphics were perfect, sound was expected, story ended up surprisingly good. I didn't really like the mount stuff. Like someone else said they are good for travel but I couldn't fight on them well at all. Could just be me. Combining weapons and armor to make them better? Best concept EVER! You have to match the weapon/armor up with equal pieces, kinda like finding, say, a Ruby Encrusted Chest Plate. If you find another one of the same name, you can combine it with the one you have and make it better. You end up with some killer stuff. I even had a crummy club I started with that I kept added fire elemental damage too that was wicked tough in the end. Makes you really interested in stuff you find as opposed to just more vendor fodder. And the game world is HUGE! I'll say I'm a big Oblivion fan and these games are too different really to compare. But like another reviewer said it's non-linear so you can go wherever you want. Can work on the main quest, or build up your character and do side quests from different towns. I like that monsters don't level up WITH you. Fun to go into a dungeon and just get obliterated and know you need to come back. Even more fun going somewhere too tough but finding ways to use elemental pets and stuff to kill things that drop VERY good loot way before you should get it. This game is a classic. I'm only mad I didn't pick it up earlier. I expected it to be awful but loved it. Going to replay it now this time focussing on archery and range combat. Just pick it up and really give it a shot, much more to the game then you can see in the first 30 minutes!

Good times!
Cool game. I have the collectors edition for the PC and this will fix and improve on some of the things I didn't like. I agree with everyone the voice acting was awful but I'm an old school gamer, used to HAVE to read all text since none of it was spoken so I just turned it off. That fixes that.Combat is great, I would roam all around and try to kill stuff I had no business messing with just to get better loot. Using my trust Earth pet and Earthquake spell I was tearing stuff up. Graphics were great, I really liked them. Sound was what I would expect. I actually loved the mounts and didn't find them hard to control at all. They actually accelerate and you have to pull back a bit to slow them down but trust me I've NEVER seen a game where mounts move this fast, it's really pretty cool. You can out run all enemies.I agree with what someone else said, it's like Oblivion because you can go anywhere you wanna and don't have to stay on the main story. Linear games are the worst to me. But I don't see anywhere on my collectors edition box where it compares this game to Oblivion. Besides, as fun as Oblivion was it was easy, the game held your hand all the way. This one is tougher and the enemies don't scale to you, so you really can try taking out stuff with spells etc that you should not be fighting.Story was killer, it seems lame and boring but gets better with a few twists. Now I just can't wait for the expansion coming out but I'll grab this for the other improvements anyway.
