First F1 2011 Game
After playing this I was really surprised at all the negative reviews. Although this is the only F1 game I've played, I'v been a fan of racing games all the way from Project Gotham to the Forza series, and even many of the codemasters games such as Dirt and Grid. I was wary considering this wasn't developed by codemasters, but I was dying for some speed so I went ahead and bought it. I have to say, although it's not as deep as a console version, and it certainly doesn't have all the fancy menus usual to a console codemasters game, it's still got the guts and a solid driving experience. What really makes this great for me is that it's the first and only portable racing game to my knowledge that has manual transmission, and forces the concentration that manual requires. So if your not jaded by other F1 games and want a fast racer on the go, this is not as bad a choice as some make it seem.

Good Game for F1 Fans
I was a pretty big fan of F1 2011 for the 360 and thought I would pick it up for the Vita. POSITIVES: The graphics are pretty decent for the Vita. The textures of the road and tires, weather effects, and reflections off the cars are all pretty impressive for a handheld. F1 has a total of 27 real world tracks, all are pretty comparable to their console counterparts. The most impressive aspect of the game for me was the tight controls. The analog stick is almost too responsive as every slight twitch will result in a response. There are a lot of options and driver assists to aid just about every level of driver. There is a 3yr career mode and online time trial play along with some other challenge modes. NEGATIVES: A slight annoyance for me was the framerate. As you race you will notice objects on the track stuttering past you. The sound is nothing to write home about. Probably the most annoying aspect of this game is the driver AI. Computer driven cars will act like you are invisible and will literally run you off the track. The career mode has been significantly stripped down from its console counterpart. Instead of post race interviews, you will receive generic email after email often with identical messages. While the racing itself is spot on and for the most part fun, the lack of any depth keeps you from staying immersed in the game. SUMMARY: I would recommend this game to F1 fans only. Some racing fans might enjoy F1 2011 but I would think the majority of PS Vita gamers would lose interest in this bare bones racer after about an hour.

Buy the PS3 version.
Having played the ps3 version i had high hopes for this game; unfortunately, it didn't live up to it's console siblings graphics or gameplay. the driving dynamics seem to change moment to moment and the graphics turned out to be more psp quality than vita. If you want an exacting racing game, go for the console version, you wont be disappointed.
