Classic MGS HD Collection
First of all, this game is a serious badass epic game for the PS Vita! However, why did I give this game a 9 out of 10? Well, basically these two games are the actual gameplay from the PlayStation 2. But there are some changes to them, and that's the touch screen feature for the front and back. And also, the trophies that are added towards this game. That's what makes this game more enjoyable to have. It will keep you busy playing this game on the holidays. I highly recommend this game to all Rated M gamers out there! :)

These Games are Very Important
WARNING: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS POTENTIAL SPOILERS! Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection is awesome. These two games are possibly some of the best action/stealth games of all time. I adore both of these games, however I do prefer the legendary Snake Eater over the insane Sons of Liberty. Since it is my first time beating these games, I will review these as a newcomer, so I have not had much time to think these games over. Let's start with Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty. MGS 2 was the second game I played (simply because Snake Eater is the true first chapter in the saga) so I knew what to expect while going in. A very good story, with awesome characters, and incredible boss battles. To my surprise, I got the exact opposite. When this game opens up, it puts you in the shoes of Solid Snake from the previous title. You are sent to a tanker, to obtain information about the new Metal Gear being developed by the military. However, after something goes horribly wrong, the tanker sinks and Snake is presumably dead. Is that our game?! No, actually fast forward two years to Big Shell, a large base used to clean up oil spills. After a terrorist organization takes over Big Shell, your character is sent in to stop them, and figure out what's going on. Are you playing as Solid Snake? Nope. You are now playing as a marine, codename Raiden. When I first played this I was confused. What happened to that cool spy from the first game? Alright, I'm just gonna play as this guy for a few minutes I thought. Yeah, you play as this guy for the rest of the game. So soon enough, you're investigating what's going on, and then you meet the villains. This game goes from weird, to STRANGE. When I first laid my eyes on the vampire, the fat explosives expert or the lady who is practically invincible, I was puzzled. Since it isn't explain who these people are until the fourth installment. Urrgghh. However, the game does manage to stay fun. You can hold guys up, beat them down, shoot out cameras, hide in cardboard boxes, typical Metal Gear stuff. And then you get to the ending. It makes no sense. End of Story. Now, onto Snake Eater. This game is so much better. You start the game off, and your job is to free a scientist who is being held by a group of Russians( because it is the Cold War) But then, you discover that the person behind every thing, is your mentor and Ocelot. The story is much more focused this time around. Then, after two hours of cutscenes, you finally get to play. And the gameplay has changed. There is no longer the radar at the top of the screen that tells you where enemies can see. Also, enemies can see very far in this game which makes it much more intense in this game. Another feature that they improved on is the stealth. There is a system where you can blend into your surroundings if you have the right gear. Also, enemies have to call into HQ if they see you. Enemies no longer come after a guard so much as looks at you. However, this game does have a few problems. The biggest being that it has thirty different endings. You are fighting someone in an arena type area. You beat him, but then he chases after you which begins an intense motorcycle chase. Once you beat him then, you fall off the motorcycle and another enemy comes out of a large crevice. Then, you escape but the person with you gets wounded so you have to continue on foot. I'm not even half way done, it really drags on. If you look past these missteps you will find an excellently crafted game, with many layers to it. Overall, this is an excellent package. Though Sons of Liberty does take down the saga's story, it still remains a very important series.

Metal Gear on the go!!
This game right here was one of the reasons I picked up the Vita! To have two classic Metal Gear Solid games on the go is just amazing! I'm a big fan of the MGS series and I'm very very happy I picked this up. Looks exactly like the MGS hd collection on the PS3! I couldn't be more happy to play MGS on the go! Pick it up if your a vita owner, or get it for ps3 or xbox 360 if you don't have a Vita. JUST GET MGS!!!! You won't be disappointed!! =D

I don't get it...
This game is TERRIBLE. I was kicking myself within minutes of making the purchase. A waste of $40. Controls: SUCK, Views: SUCK. I don't see why so many people like this game. I don't want to watch a movie, I want to play a game. Get ready for LONG and annoying dialogs. Horrible!

#1 PS Vita game
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is a remastered version of the ps2 games: MGS2 Substance and MGS3 Subsistance which includes Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2. The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is packed with content, and it’s a joy to play. Whether you're returning to Snake's adventures or experiencing them for the first time, these two games feel at home on the Vita, look great and will keep you busy for quite some time.
These are a couple of the greatest games ever, and for $40, you can play them anywhere with all the bonus content. MGS2 and MGS3 had stuff then, and they still do.
