A very nicely done DDR
I have played a lot of DDR games I have to say that this one is one of my top favorites. It has some nice catchy songs that are fun to play and the difficulty level seems to be a bit easier than previous DDRs, which makes it nice for all age groups. The characters and the backgrounds are very colorful and neat to look at, and I loved the special arrows you can unlock (Gotta love fish shaped arrows!). I think the best part about this game that makes it much better than other DDRs is the story/master mode. I loved how they set up the different planets of music that you can unlock as you increase in your DDR skills. Each planet has its own unique look and group of songs. At times it can be a bit challenging to unlock the levels, but it is also very fun and satisfying when you do. A very good DDR to add to your collection.

The best are the classics
I've been a fan of DDR since I was really young. All the games for ps one and two and the old xbox are by far the best in the series. This game provides some of the best music in DDR history along with MAX and MAX2. New DDR games for the 360 and PS3 and Wii just are not the same. From what I heard, the 360 versions take around 12 seconds for a single song to load, and all they focused on were the graphics and not the music. If you want the best, go for the Playstation one/two and old Xbox DDR games.

The Best DDR Game Series
I have played all DDR games out there (except for the Xbox because it is flat out Horrible). This has got to be my favorite DDR series of all time. They improve the graphics compare to the other series. The dancers can get a little annoying, so I just turn them off. My favorite aspect of the game is the video songs for Doll and Xepher wonderful art for both. The songs on this series have got to be my favorite. Supernova includes some of the following songs: Xepher, Doll, Red Zone, AA, True Love, and so much more. Well, the Battle Feature is creative but when you verse a computer, you know. The Story mode for this game is so-so; I played it so I could unlock the songs for the shop. I like how you buy the songs instead of, “Oh I got a new song." Any first time DDR player can have fun in this series. Any experience player can have fun trying to beat Xepher on Challenge, which is so fun to play. I hope if you’re considering start playing DDR that you start with this game first. Don't go for DDR X trust me. Plus you can save by buying used.
