Nearly perfect
This is incredible thanks to the fact that now you can customize your rocker and your instruments. It has many great songs and you have four ways of playing on single player mode which are guitar, bass, drums, or mic. This game is nearly perfect but this game has one tiny problem; it takes way too long to load, it doesn't matter if your doing beginner, easy, medium, hard or expert it just takes way too long to load the song or just take you to the main menu so you will need patience which i have none.

EH, AN OK GAME
GH World Tour is apretty good game. The customization is good, the playlists are good. But for singing, it's kinda hard to tell how high or low to sing. I also think it's kinda a copy of Rockband. And if it is, I would reccomend Rockband more than this. Again, i'd only get this if you were a hardcore Guitar Hero fan.

Wasn't the best.
Ok, so I got this game for Christmas last year, and played it for an hour or two. After a while, I got bored. Songs weren't very appealing, although being able to customize your character is pretty cool. Recommended 8+.

Over Rated!
I bought Guitar Hero World Tour thinking it was going to be one of the best games of all time. When I opened it up and started to play I personally thought there were several flaws. First, the graphics. Guitar Hero 3 had better graphics than this. And I really don't like the fact that the kick pedal for the drums is purple so you can't even see it on half of the tracks. Second, I did not like the tour mode. The way you have to play every song in a gig in order just annoyed me. It didn't give you much freedom to choose your own songs. Last, I was so excited I finally got to make my own song. So I created my first song and it wouldn't even save. So I tried again and once it finally did save it took up a large portion of my memory card. Then I went to play it and it wasn't even my song. In my opinion Guitar Hero World Tour is over rated. I think if you are someone looking for an awesome music simulation game just by Rock Band 2. It beats Guitar Hero in every way.

I got a weird verstion?
Don't get me wrong this game is awesome many good songs and graphics are really good but when i put it in today and started t up (it was used game) i played some songs and some person messed around with it and now it wammies when ever it has a chance and does star power instantly when i get it so i need to get it fix but i bet you won't gt the kind i got because mine was used but for game wise it s really fun i have had fun with it and when i bout it i got the noika guitar or what ever and its nice but the problems i have with it is the neck fells thick and the start and select button are in my way so when i play a song i hit them but i dont' care about it as long as it works for 10$ why not but yea if you want a family fun game go for this first you will have much fun and if not then i don't know what will work for ya but yea have fun shopping.

The Best Music Game I've Ever Played
I love Guitar Hero World Tour. There is nothing about that I didn't like. The setlist is outstanding with 84 songs, not to mention all of the custom songs you can make. The music studio, though tough at first, becomes easy to use, and you'll be making songs before you know it. The customization options are endless, you can create your own character or edit the pre-existing ones, and design your own guitars, drumsets, and mics (because red octane ditched the Gibson liscense). The new World Tour mode is excellent, how you handle your career is completely up to you. The graphics Guitar Hero has are outstanding, they are some of the best graphics you'll ever see in a PS2 game. However, I feel that the thing that sets apart Guitar Hero from other music games is the instruments. The guitar has a cool design and is very responsive, even with the slide bar. And the drums are beeter desinged and more complex than Rock Band's. Guitar Hero just leaves Rock Band in the dust.

BEST game
I've really been wanting to get Rock Band, but am hesitant until I can get a game console that connects online. But one of my friends bought me this game for Christmas and it is amazing! Honestly I only have the guitar but it is SO much more fun than playing the other Guitar Hero games! For starters, the song list is awesome. I love the time variety from No Doubt toTool to Linkin Park. The game allows you to create your own character, but it takes a VERY long time to look thru all the options. I found it strange that the songs didn't seem to be ordered according to difficulty as well. This is definitely a very challenging game! The battles are SUPER tough! For the Aerosmith game, I played thru once on Expert and beat the game in a couple days. This one I've had for months and STILL haven't beat! Plus I love replaying some of the songs. I highly recommend this game as an alternative for Rock Band!

Guitar Hero: World Tour is the BEST
This is one of the best games I have ever played. I was comparing it to Rock Band but i have every other guitar hero ( 1, 2 .3 , Aerosmith, and so on) and i just thought that i would keep going. This guitar hero has many of the songs that i listen to daily and the graphics are better than any other music game i have ever played. The looks on the instruments like awesome. The guitar is great and the drums is new and improved. I like how the metal pedal doesn't break like on rock band. Not to say that rock band stinks. Just saying in my opinion guitar hero is a lot better. I also like how anyone can play with more than 2 characters. It nice to play like your in a real band for once in a while. The storyline is great to because you never know what to expect this time. I was glad that i got this game.

Better Than Rock Band
I personally think that Guitar Hero: World Tour is better than Rock Band. I originally wanted to get Rock Band 2 for PS2, but when I got to Gamestop, I learned that they didn't make the complete pack of Rock Band 2 (drums, mic, guitar, etc.) for PS2. So then I saw Guitar Hero: World Tour, and bought it. It's a little bit pricier than Rock Band 2, but I think that it is worth it. The guitar has a beautiful look, and the drums are awesome. The drums have 3 heavy duty drums, 2 cymbols on top, and a nice kick pedal underneath. (Rock Band's drums are not as heavy duty as Guitar Hero: World Tour's and are known to break when you pound on them too hard)The kick pedal even has velcro on the bottom to stick to the rug so it doesn't move on you while you are using it. I haven't used the mic yet, but I bet that it is awesome. The songs are a lot better than Rock Band's, and everything else is just as good, if not better. I'm glad that I got Guitar Hero: World Tour. I strongly recommand it, and I promise that you will enjoy it. So buy Guitar Hero: World Tour over Rock Band 2.
