Same,Yet Different
I don't own this game yet,But I will own it soon!I have Mlb:2k6 and even though there basically the same,there are a few differences like:Gary Thorne doing Commentary instead of Jon Miller/New Miami Uni's and Name/New Rosters/maybe one or 2 more options/Updated stadiums.It's a great game if you don't own more recent ones.If you only own 05' 0r 06' or07' You'll want to get this.if you have a PS2 get it. It's the last game ever to be made for this system,anyways!! Might as well.

Disappointing
Overall, not bad if you're just playing casually just to play the game, but has a few issues. , In my game (i dont know if this is a problem on all of the games, or just a defect on my disc) the commentators were an entire play behind. They would be announcing the play that happen before the current one. That wasnt a big problem, i just turned them off. But another issue was the graphics. they weren't bad, but the players DO NOT look anything like the real players. I couldn't barely recognize the players from my favorite team(the giants). Tim Lincecum didn't have the right windup, his body wasnt the right shape, and didn't even have long hair! Pablo Sandoval wasn't chubby like he is and Bruce Bochy has the weirdest mustache! I'm disappointed by this game. I found all these problems after playing the game for only one day! The one upside was its price, but id rather pay more for a higher quality game. Game developers have really been slacking with PS2 games. Very disappointing.

MLB 2K Games for the PS2 never change over the years. I don't think I will buy this one because don't I already have this? Oh wait yeah, ITS CALLED MLB 2K11!

I read on Wiikipedia that MLB 2K12 will be the final official game released for PS2. You've had a long, great run, and we'll miss yoou PS2.
