Amazing
This game is awesome. The creatures can only be killed by fire. Their almost like zombies, but a lot harder to kill. Also in this game you can create weapons. You won't believe what you can create. Finally this game you really have think because this game also a problem solver.

great game
we all wondered why centeral park is so big and in this chapter of alone in the dark we find out why and it worked amazingly well. It's not often we see a story compelling and imaginative such as this and the story of the game is great and written well and i would love to see an alone in the dark movie exactly like this game and the graphics are great and the sound is top notch and voice acting well lets just say it gets the job done. the music score of the game is amazing and really helps the mood of the game. The controls are clunky and tricky to master the driving in the game is just bad. the cars feel light and hard to steer and the goin into ur jacket all the time can be annoying and some of the physics could have been more reallistic but with all that said the game is good and the story is great and the story alone is worth buying

Fun for a little while
I bought this around Halloween when I looking for scary game to play It has some scary moments but there few far between. The can be a tiresome so time mostly you die for something dumb like you didn't have the flashlight shinning the right spot when fight blob in the tunnel.

Much Better on the PS3!
I have been a fan of the Alone in the Dark games ever since the original PS1. I purchased the game for the XBox 360 the day it came out and though I did play the whole thing through, it was extremely difficult in terms of battle, controls, driving etc. I found myself wanting to throw my controller at the screens several times. I went back after I finally beat the game anp played several levels over again, but the game never got any easier to control. When I heard that the controls were fixed for the PS3 version, I decided to give the game another try, and I'm glad I did. All the parts I remember going crazy over before were far easier to control this time around. Don't get me wrong, the game is still plenty difficult, but certain parts that were too uncontrollable before (using a burning chair to block a light while you walked, for example) or little, irritating and unnecessary challenges like having to hotwire a car while being attacked by 10 different bad guys (most cars now have keys and they have greatly reduced the amount of baddies throughout the park) have been fixed. Using fire bullets to take down badguys has also been improved. During the driving challenges, your passenger now tells you where to turn and when. Personlly, I feel that the game is a hundred times better than before. Whether you have played it before or not, I highly recommend giving this verson a try.

Loving this game
Let me tell you that the demo did not do the final game justice. The gameplay is so much better and the controls are totally fixed. Now I do admit that the combat can be awkward since you fight using the right analog stick, but then again that may just be that I am just no good at fighting that way. The camera is a lot better now, not perfect but a heck of a lot better than old build demo and the 360 version. I tried playing in 3rd and 1rst person and I must say it feels really natural playing in the 3rd person, playing in 1rst person feels a bit clumsy and the default speed for that mode was a little to fast for me. In the demo it seemed nothing was fixed but the full version has those promised fixes, so do not judge the game by that demo. All in all Alone In The Dark: Inferno is most certainly worth a pickup at only $ but even though I have the PS3 version I still believe that Eden should release a patch for the 360 version so that even more people can enjoy this game the way it was meant to be.

I think it's great
The whole blinking thing takes games to a new level of real, not to mention going into first person you having to look around a corner and get something splashed in your eyes making them go blind for a moment or 2 and having to blink to clear your eyes to get whatever you have in them out, and along the whole time being blind you got people scream alien sounds. It adds tension and anyone who says the Taxi case isn't cool with the road breaking up under you while other cars get caught on fire or hit a ramp go flying into a hole in the ground to a building killing themselves, has to be crazy because that was so cool I thought. I'd give this game a 8.5 only because of the demo. The full game more then likely if long would so get a 9 or 9.5. That's just me though.

Amaaaazing
I downloaded the demo for PS3 and I have to say I was very pleased with what I saw. The game is quite realistic and that appeals to me a lot; especially the blinking feature, which to some may seem superfluous, but I was impressed with how it stays true to body functions not unlike those experienced in life. On top of that, the combinations for all the equipment and tools you pick up is fun to play with and very satisfying to see when your concoction blows the crap out of an enemy. Based off what I played in the demo, the game promises to be excellent.

HORRIBLE
I played the demo and it was just like the Xbox360 version. It really SUCKED, avoid buying this game at all cost. The only way I would get this game is if they game me money to have it. Blinking thing is stupid, and the camera angles suck, and the gameplay is HORRIBLE. Play the demo and if your satisfied with that get it but you wont, because the game is just BAD. The Xbox360 version when reviewed it got a 2 out of 10 and the PS3 version will get a 2.5 out of 10 probably because all of the critics feel sorry for the developers of this game.
