Assassin's Creed III
I love this game. It is really fun to play. It is alot longer than what you think it would be. I was very surprised with this title, and I have not played previous assassin's creed games.
There are a couple bugs here and there. People fall or levitiate. Someone stuck in their bar stool. Lips not syncing correctly with the cinematic scenes.
There is a ton to do. Sometimes chasing the almanac pages gets aggrivating. Seasons and years change and bring about new events. Sometimes the mechanics introduced as the game progresses have a slight learning curve. Hopefully with the new next generation technology AC:4 will bring about a whole new level to the game mechancis.
The graphics are fairly good and the sound is top notch. There is a ton of side quests and challenges and the hunting mechanic is really good and fun.
All in all AC:3 is a pretty solid game. I am definitely going to check out the other ones.
love this game
have beaten it 4 times already, currently working on my 5th play-through. its a great game and id recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Starts off the best, but falls short
The Assassins are back and better than ever! Assassin's Creed 3 starts off really strong and almost tough to beat. The chemistry between Connor and Haytham is incredible! As the game continued on I loved it more and more until the end which falls short. The end completely messed the game up for me. You don't get to kill the main bad guy and Desmond's conclusion thought heartbreaking was a bit pathetic. While Connor is an awesome character, you just can't help but miss Ezio and that's another way the game falls short. you never really get a connection with Connor the way you did with Ezio. Connor just isn't as cool. Still great, but that ending!!!
3 Steps forward, One step back.
First off, I think this is a rock solid game, and probably my favorite one of the series. However, the game does have its downfalls (much like any game) but I feel like for the most part, the downfalls are excusable. For starters, I think myself and just about everyone else fell in love with the ship combat, the hunting, and the tree climbing all RIGHT AWAY. The new mechanics are wonderful, and don't have many bugs. They all add a lot to the game, and really help its replay value (at least for me). If not for the story, I found myself hopping back on the game to run around, hunt animals in the woods, or go sailing. Most of my gripes were minor, such as frame rate drop, not seeing an equipped outfit in cutscenes, or sometimes wonky textures. But my biggest gripe was the ridiculous voice acting. It didn't stop me from loving the game, but some of the voice acting was excruciating to listen to. This gripe came mainly from the indian tribe, but there were several instances where I just wish I had the game muted and subtitles on. Granted, I probably care more about voice acting than the average gamer, it still irked me throughout the game. That being said, I still think AC3 was a tremendous step forward for the series and I can't wait to see where they go from here.
best in the series
I thought AC3 was the best in the series a new assassin to play with a great story and easy controls it was a no brainer to pick this up you should to
AC3 IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This game blew my mind. With all of this area playable, it's hard to imagine how long it took to make this game. Most of the time creators will just throw in repetitive terrain and allow you to run around in it only to call it an "open-world" game. The creators of this game really put effort into the frontier in order to make it a real open-world game. The free-running is very fluid and is pristine. I love how they do not allow you to run off a cliff unless you jump off. The naval missions made me sceptical at first but, it turned out great. BUY THIS GAME PEOPLE!!!!!!
One Of The Best AC Games, But Not Perfect
Great game, great graphics, fun gameplay, good multiplayer, and a great story. But, there are some problems. One, there are some glitches. Not many, but they could use to make some patches. Also, I had a very strange glitch once, I flew up in the air, and then fell and died. Also after fast traveling, I encountered a horrible glitch. The environment looked terrible, the grass was white, and a butload of pop in textures. Gameplay can be repetitive also, though cool animations help it be a little less repetitive. Connor's different than Ezio, but he is still great. Though, I prefer Ezio.
this game sucks
by far the worst assassins creed of the franchise. too much change in this case is not a good thing.
Can't get my hands off of
This was my first ps3 game. My first to pass. My favorite. The game I could not stop playing. was the funniest game out of my all the ps3. The game is very bloody with ceartin weapons [moms] The graphics look real. The only issue I have is after I passed the main missions it got boring, so I quit. I never did get around to the online. I still own it.
I Did Not Enjoy It.
I was honestly really excited for this game. After seeing all the gameplay and trailers it looked like it was going to turn the series around after the lackluster Brotherhood and Revelations entries. But I realized that my expectations had been set to high soon after I picked up the game. A huge problem is that for the first three chapters you don't even get to play as the main character. (and the character you play as can't even hunt or climb trees... the reason I bought the game) But about a forth of the way into the game you get to play as the main character, Conor. Once you start playing as him the story and gameplay options open up and you get to meet some interesting "celebrities" of history such as George Washington. Also the tree climbing is just as good as we all hoped and the hunting is enjoyable. (not as good as Red Dead's) And all would have been good if it weren't for the repetitive missions, glitchy graphics, and painful gameplay. (especially when your trying to sneak around) So if you want to save yourself some time and frustration, do not get this game.
