This is a good game
The collectors edition is definitely worth it, the flight stick is well made and feels great in your hands. The Game play is amazing from bombing runs in the pacific to dog fights in Alaska to sinking battleships. this game will give you well more than 12 hours of game play. The graphics of the airplanes are flawless even the pilots look good, but the background is not top notch but considering that in a single mission you will fly between 80 and 200 miles kill up to 100 airplanes and sink ships in just one mission (there are some 15 missions total) the setback in the background is okay (also on one mission i spent 45 minuets to complete). As for the sound there are no problems although there is not a soundtrack that plays during games play only during menus. If you like flying games and do not have a flight stick then this is the game for you.

Not as bad as others say
This games dose not have the best water, land or trees graphics but the planes look amazing and the game is very long had it for two days and have played for 6 or so hours and only half done, one mission was over 30 minutes long, another i flew over 180 miles, so yes the graphics are not as great as Cod or BF3 but the game covers way more land then either game. As to the game handling like a snake i though the same when i used the Reaper Corsair that i got for pre-ordering the game and crashed twice but that plane has so far had the best state (gun, speed, agility, and armor) but now that i have discovered the tricks to flying it i can own (in the last mission i shot down nearly 100 aircraft and 30 ground units) so if you like flying games this game is a must

Kool game
I never had a fight controller be for so I don't really no if this is a really good one or not but it's really kool though and the game is not quite like Birds of steel but it is a good game overall

Don't buy it.
This game is terrible. Don't waste your money. Graphics are terrible, looks more like a PS2 game. Controls feel like I'm wrestling a snake or some other creature rather than flying a plane. Frame rate is also bad. I wasted $100!

Looks... "Okay."
This game looks good. I want it but i dont want too spend $100 on a game that could possibly be terrible. I would get it, try it and return it within the first 30 days if its not good. Just to be safe.
