Very Realistic Game!!!
This game is a must buy no matter what the rating says. this game rocks. Huge selection of cars, and tracks, and a handful of different environments in it. This is a game at the top of my list. I love. You will too, especially if you like racing games!!!

Awesome
Dirt3 is hands down one of the best RACING games I've played. It's nothing but rally where like in GT5 you have normal, drift, and rally. Although I do really like this game, I think I'm gonna stick with GT5. I like the variety in it a whole lot better. The graphics are better, IMO. Although the graphics and realness of this game are awesome to say the least, I do prefer GT5. Hands down WAY better than Forza 4. So after I beat this game and possibly plat it I'm gonna have to say goodbye and send it back to gamefly.

Best simulator for sub-genre gaming.
I grew up on Need for Speed, GT, & Midnight Club on the playstation 1. Racing games make the world go 'round. I played GT4 so long that I learned how to drift. when GT5 introduced drifting challenges online I was thrilled. However, the entire Drift 3 games is focused on the best parts of Rally, Drift, Gym-khana, Trail blaze, and the DC compound makes for hours of pointless fun.
The precise movements of the vehicle in relation to the razor sharp controls of the PS3 controller make it all the more enjoyable.

Great
This game is graet from the never ending cars and trucks to ken block teaching you how to drift and jump.... If you finish season 1 you get to drive with ken block and then get to practice in the dc compound and do mission like drifting and jumping and doing 180's.... the more season you finish the more compunds you get....This is the only type of "freerun" in this game but it is also 1 of the best freeruns i ever played....Before you leave the store make shore you check for the vip acsess in the case ... this lets you play online and gives you 5 new cars like the hummer h3... if there is not vip acsess make shure you buy a $10 playstation network card to be able to play online.... I made the mistake of just buying the vip acsesss instead of looking in the case first (it was $9) .... so make shure you look.... Ok thanks for reading and get this game

Great Game Overall
This game is great. The physics, the cars, and the environments are all great. The game has a steep learning curve, going from assists to none at all, but this is not much of a problem once you get used to the racing. I am very glad that the game was able to be this good while keeping its roots in the sport of rally racing. Gymkhana was a great addition to a game that would already be amazing without it. My only problem with this game is the large amount of filler between races which takes away from the time I would much rather be using to race. If you buy this game, which I strongly recommend, make sure you buy it new if you plan on playing online.

best rally racing game out :)
this is by FAR the best rally racing game out the graphics are amazing and the way the cars handle is amazing the feel of it is awesome the look of cockpit view and the different handling of different cars is a really cool feeling... also when ur on snow vs dirt u doo feel and notice the traction difference which is a nice touch not every terrain handels the same which is nice... theres tons of events to do with buggys, trucks, rally cars, free style events, RX, land rush, theres jsut tons of variety,, does it get boring?... yes it does doing races after races but if ur a die hard racing car fanatic like i am then its hard to get bored of shuch an amazing racing game if ur a true WRC fan get this game if not just stick with COD :)

Realistic Racing? Look no further
Dirt 3 has the best graphics for a racing game. Split/Second is up there but Dirt 3 take it to a whole new level. Codemasters does an excellent job of using the terrain to alter the racing. You race on dirt, snow, cement, and also drive through water. I chose to put the difficulty on 'Medium' and I quickly had to lower it. You have to learn the vehicles first, adjust the cars performance, and then bump up the difficulty in order to enjoy your time spent playing. I have only done the single player due to the fact that I've been going through my greatly expanded game library. The single player is set up to where the better you do, the better sponsers you will have look at you. The better race teams have better vehicles and give you more "Rep" (reputation) points so you can become the best rally car driver in the world. A more in-depth review will be provided by me at a later date.

Buy it new and save $$$$
Don't buy a used copy of this game. It will cost ya more for the used copy cause you have to pay 9.99 to buy a code to play online.

Amazing Game, Realistic Driving Physics
I just recently purchased Dirt 3 after looking for a copy of Dirt 2 for the past year. First thing, if you plan to play the game online, DO NOT PURCHASE THE GAME USED! They are doing the EA Sports thing with the online pass that can only be used once. As for the game itself though, it is pretty amazing. I started out thinking I was really good because I was on casual setting. It seemed very easy and unrealistic. Once I found out how to turn off the assist function, the driving in the game is very realistic. You have to corner correctly at the right speeds or else you lose control. Very impressed at the job well done with this game. Just a warning, I am pretty good at GT5 and Motorstorm, and this game has eaten me alive so far. Each race is determined by about 2 seconds so every corner counts. Makes each race very exciting!
