DJ Hero 2 - Game Only
It is the Hip Hop Hero
This is a nice alternative to guitar hero and the turntables are backwards compatible from the 1st dj hero. You can even put the 15 remixes from the 1st dj hero onto this sequel. Boosting your remix count to 127 (83 on disc and 29 dlc remixes for dj hero 2). Be warned though, dlc is expensive. 3 songs are just 7.99. Single player campaign will take you 5 to 10 hours to beat (took me 7). This isn't including multiplayer, dlc content, and to 100 percent in trophies.
If you still need turntables then get the dj hero 2 party bundle that comes with a white turntable, a black turntable, and a mic (includes batteries).
The gameplay mechanics for the turntables are flawless and if things get too hard/easy you can change the difficulty, but the multiplayer/battles feels tacked on compared to its' siblings. In guitar hero on tour you could activate stuff to mess up your opponent. Even the singing/rapping feels like it has been slapped on there, but we haven't come for that. So it gets a pass in my books.
If you don't like scratching turntables, huge amounts of improv during music segments, or hip hop music in general. Then just skip this IP even though there are a variety of other music genres in the game.
This is Amazing!
The game is awesome! Its so much better than the first one. Its great that there's 2 player and a singer! If you like music, you'll love this game. The songs are pretty incredible when you yourself get to mix it.
They sure made DJ Hero better this time!
I'm usually weary about sequels, especially in the music game genre, but DJ Hero 2 delivers. I just finished playing the demo and the improvements are so much better. The new freestyle system, freestyle scratching, freestyle crossfading, and microphone capability. It's worth it. Do it.
Dj Hero 2
Since I use to DJ for many years, the first DJ Hero brought back alot of memories, and now I definately got to have the new DJ Hero 2. Heck it might any have me to get DJ equipment all over again and start doing it all over again.
cant wait i love dj hero.it was a fun game an pretty hard but i just cant wait!
DJ HERO was a fun game especially for my self who's been a dj for 10yrs one thing that has me hyped is the FREESTYLE SCRATCHING AND CROSSFADING. I already know i'm gonna tear those sections up lol and a good thing is we get to keep our original dj hero turntables so that does leave you with a few bucks in your pocket.
I really enjoyed the first DJ Hero and I'm excited for the second..This just shows that The Hero series isn't a one genre game. It's nice to hear updated music.
