Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi
its not bad
it has alot to offer i enjoy the free world explore mode i enjoy making my own toon it does need a better story and some of the old dbz games ideas in it but not a bad dbz game just alot haters if you love dbz you well love this game.
It hurts me to write this review about DBZ....
Before i start let me just say... I love, and i mean i LOVE, Dragon Ball Z. Having said that, i absolutely can not and will not recommend this game to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Well, maybe to my worst enemy because it would be such a waste of their money. First i will say the things i like. The graphics are great, and they changed the way you transform. you hold L2 and in the small corner it brings up a menu of possible transformations for your character, and you press X, Square, Circle, or Triangle to choose from those transformations. Now on to the negatives.... and believe me they outweigh the positives by a lot. First of all, The game doesn't go past the Cell Saga. The only word i can think of to describe the roster is pitiful. while it has most of the major characters, it does not have all of their transformations. No SS2 Vegeta, no SS4 anyone, no base form Vegitto, no base form Teen Gohan, the list goes on. MAYBE i would have been able to get past the lacking roster (and that is a big maybe) if the gameplay was anything bearable. and thats just because they have my favorite character, Vegeta (and they still left out SS2 for him). but back to that gameplay i mentioned. go flip a coin about 20 times. congratulations, you just played Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi. after you throw 3-4 punches and/or Ki blasts, you automatically charge at your opponent, and are prompted to press either square or triangle, while the opponent presses one as well. if you both press the same button, the attack is countered. if you press whichever button your opponent did not, the attack is successful. That's about all there is to it. so you can be the best gamer ever, and this game will still be 99.99% luck for you.
I Don't Like
I Bought This Game N the Next Day I Returned It I didn't Like It.I Played Burst Limit And I Liked It.But This 1 Sucks
Worst game I have ever played
Ok it is simple! this game is like playing an awesome version of rock, paper scissors, It is not a game about competitive fighting against a friend is a game of chance. I was very very very disappointed! for this thrash the price is way to high and I would rather play DBZ raging blast 2! at least you can fight and aim a Kamehameha wave attack at your opponent instead of a dum clip sequence! >:( buy this for your kid or grandmother they will get it. -.- , sorry for my bad grammar...
Terrible Gameplay for a DBZ Game
The graphics, story mode, and the fact that you were able to make a character were great. However, the very poor gameplay of the game made it terrible. It is definitely not worth more than 20$.
Makes DBZ games look horrible
This is by far the worst game from the DBZ series i have ever played, and i have played over 12 of them. I give it credit, the presentation, graphics and music are pretty good, but that's it. The gameplay is EXTREMELY, and i mean EXTREMELY limited. You can only shoot energy beams from far away, and you can't fly far away from your opponent, You can't fly around the maps to explore. You can only get far away from your opponent if you knock them away from you. The game is just bad. who cares about the character customization, the gameplay is GARBAGE. i'd rather play any DBZ game over this one.
I only like this because im a dbz fan
I like this because im a dbz fan and i really like the graphics but i don't like the kai voices, hope DBZ UT 2 is better
WORST DBZ GAME
I WAS PUMPED FOR THIS GAME WAS THE ONLY REASON I GOT A PS3 but the gameplay was bad nothing like any of the other dbz games and didnt have any dbgt characters besides omega and gogeta also they used the dbz kai voices and is way to easy my 4 year old cousin can play this easily
Had so much potential.
I liked the game and at the same time didn't, I like the idea of custom creations. I was planning to make an android, along with a female saiyan. But the didn't have it, at least I got to create a African American saiyan. Also the graphics were great, the game play was to limited for my taste, and because I couldn't fully custom my character, and the game play has to much of a chance of me being countered can't really say that it has much of a lasting appeal, but I would recommend to a friend.
perfect for dbz gamers
this game has many features like creat your own character and boss battles are awesome to!!!!!!!!!!!!!
