Far Cry 2
A solo amazing story
While the multiplayer just flat up isn't that great, It is the vast world and story in the UAC (unnamed African country) that makes this game pretty good.
far cry 2 is a decent game with average graphics, and good sound and gameplay. At first, the game is super fun, but at least 3 hours into the game, it starts to get boring because of repetitive driving and the same missions. You also have to run in baddies every 2 minutes while having to worry about ammo and health. The realistic concept of the game is good but overall, it was an okay game. far cry 3 is way betterr
Gets Really Boring Really Fast
I have had this game for over a year now and I barely play it anymore. The gameplay and graphics are good but the missions are long, hard, frustrating and only consist of shooting bad guys in a desert. The only cool things about this game is the open world environment and the weapon selection. Seriously just save up a few more bucks and buy Farcry 3 I haven't played it yet but its supposedly the experience of a lifetime.
The game has a bad storyline, and the sneak is horrible. i cant wait for farcry 3 to put this dissapointment behind us
Great but the Malaria.....
Ok this is by far the first most realistic game I've played. You can drive cars and stuff swim use boats and also weapons jam and blow up if they're used to much or they're old. Lots of weapon choices including the AK-47 and the Desert Eagle 50. caliber pistol. You can use a flamethrower and burn stuff it's awesome. The main objective of the game is to kill "The Jackal" who supplied the APR Who I think are good guys and the UFLL The bad guys. On this game they're are NO Civilians everyone shoots you. It's VERY ANNOYING. But what's worse is Malaria. you get pills that last a while in the beginning but then it's only 1 pill per bottle. and you travel EVERYWHERE to get them. The map is mostly desert and jungles so it's not that much urban areas. The multyplayer is empty but the game is still great.
Need to escape
this game is great. I just got this game today. I played it for the first time. I never played a Far Cry game ever. Now I am playing a Far Cry game. this is a great game. I would buy this game.
a lot things to do in this game and create maps
this game is awesome first person shooter game u only can do in this game free roam and multiplayer and create maps
I Love this game!!!
I've had this game fpr at least four years now and I still lover to play it over and over. The ability to play the game in different ways is amazing. It allows you to play different every time. There is an overall objective and end result as the story continues, yet getting to the end is completely up to you. You can hunt for diamonds and be rearely seen or you can be a total silent assassin roaming the deserts of Africa. I can't say enough about it!! It's too bad this is the only game out there like this. Great Game!!! Hope to see a Far Cry 3!!!
Far Cry 2 is an ingenious thriller
Far Cry 2 has it all; free roam, side conflicts, every decision matters, adventure filled freedom, endless possibilities. You are the hunter and the Jackal is the hunted, but as time is used it seems as though you are the hunted. Battle ferocious and psychotic enemies as though you were actually the character. This game is one of a kind, and hopefully Far Cry 3 is as good or better than Far Cry 2.
A Gem - Can't wait for Far Cry 3!
If you are reading this review, you are probably on the fence about buying Far Cry 2. I will only tell you one thing: I love this game! I have always been a fan of games with map editors, and that is why I initially picked up this game. But after a few hours of playing, I realized what a great storyline and gameplay it had. The campaign/story mode takes days to complete with many side missions and items to unlock and I always have a great time playing. Multiplayer was a little blase compared to most of the first-person shooters I've played, but it is entertaining for a while. The Map Community and editor were and still are among the most in-depth for creation and publishing of maps, and that is the reason I still often pick up this game to play. The only flaws I found in this amazing game were that it can be a little glitchy at times (nothing that would ruin the game though) and that NPCs have a ton of health. You could literally shoot one of them fifteen times with a pistol before they died. Other than those points, I have found Far Cry to be a veritable diamond in the rough of games.
