Pocket Fighter - PSone 8 10 1 1

It's just silly fun! First of all, I found this under the DLC section for the PSP. This is PS3 only due to technical difficulties in emulating the game, per Capcom. Otherwise, this is a lighthearted take on a fighting game. Characters will change their costumes during combos (Ken dons a cowboy outfit, a soccer players uniform, Morrigan dons a nurse outfit, etc, etc) for humerous effect. It's all quite silly and cute, if you ask me. Since the game is a spin off of Puzzle Fighter, the multi-colored gems come into play. Gain enough of a certain color and a special move gets a level up. For example, Ryu's fire ball goes from a tiny, one-hit ball to a larger 2 hit attack, and then a huge 3 hit affair. The game doesn't take itself very seriously and so, neither should you. It's an amusing little stroll down a silly road that can be fun in short bursts, but really not meant for extended hours worth of play. 4/10/11
