Spec Ops: The Line
Good til you get into it more
This is a good game overall but when you get far into the game it gets really hard and you can't seem to beat it. It is different then modern warfare and call of duty. It is worth a try.
We are not in call of duty anymore.
Spec ops the line is first of all very gritty unlike most shooters where it's killing all day with no consequences, this game focuses on the tragedies of war and the theme is dark. That being said it is a good game and is worth a try. The online is almost dead but there are still few people online, but the campaign is the main part of the game. This game is worth it and is a change from mindless killing of enemies.
Minimally funded game
This game got minimal funds to make. Very cheap and not worth $30. Reasons you ask? -
1. Bullet to body system is very weak. Fails to register bullets as being "hit"
2. Your 2 partners repeat over and over the same recorded dialogue that eventually gets very annoying and they don't kill the enemies half the time.
3. 80% of the enemies look identical to one another.
4. The whole map is a repeat of itself basically. Sand and buildings. The only thing different I ever saw was a broken airplane at the very beginning of the game.
A great story-driven, third-person shooter
This is an amazing game for gamers who really love action filled, bloody brutal fun. The game starts as you enter the city of Dubai, which has been ravaged by a series on large sandstorms. As leader of Delta, you are tasked with locating survivors and evacuating the city. Well, once you enter, everything spins into hysteria. I dont want to give away spoilers so you will have to play the game itself to learn more.
it's like playing Socom but in a different way!
This game isn't so good to play, I mean, the game itself looks good the graphics and sound are okay, but squad-based 3rd person shooter that kind of looks like Socom us navy seals.
MAN !!! this game was really good . the story line was perfect and Guns and fighting was great . It has alternate endings and willl leave you mind blown and shocked when you get to the end. The best part to me is how you can use your sqaud. Get the game and see for yourself.
awesome game!. I never was a fan of games like this especially cod.
I only like playing action crime games (gta, saints row etc)
but I must admit I fell inlove with it the story line was great loved how you can tell your partners what to do .only thing I didn't like about it is that I bought it on a Monday . & completed the entire story mode in the same day. but playing online is just as fun so whatever :)
stunning visuals, gameplay and story. The story in this game is gripping and with stunning visuals it makes a great journey. Spec ops is defenitely a visually stunning, and unforgettable journey.
this is good game. not a COD game but good. I like COD and I like this game too. it is worth a try I think. good game.
The Biggest Sleeper Hit of 2012
Battlefield and Call of Duty are some of the biggest franchises on the market. And I love them both. But an arguement that has been tossed around these days is which shooter is more realistic. Spec Ops: The Line is one of the most realistic games I have ever played. The game has you playing as Martin Walker, a soilder along with 2 other men to rescue a soilder named John Konrad in the ruined city of Duabi. The game starts out as a standard shooter but as you begin your descent into insanity and madness, Spec Ops gives itself a new layer. Martin becomes delusional. He starts to see things, and this affects the outcome of the game. In Spec Ops, players are given a choice to do ceartin actions. There is a momment where you can choose to save your fellow soilder or rescue a whole bunch of civilians. There is no good or bad decison in Spec Ops, so use your common sense. These choices would make Commander Shepard (Mass Effect) and Geralt (The Witcher) would stumble upon. The singleplayer is an amazing expereince coupled with GREAT third person shooting. Multiplayer is also good, but not as good as singleplayer. It is basically your standard TPS but with (what I like to call) building effects. Each map in multiplayer has been raided by a sand storm, and when you destroy a part of a building. That is about it, but this has too many generic modes to call it one of the great MP's.
Spec Ops: The Line was GREAT. I loved the story, gameplay and choice. 9/10. (Sorry this review was shortish! Expect a Dragon Age II or Saints Row: The Third review soon! :D)
