Spec Ops: The Line
it's like playing Socom but in a different way!
This game isn't so good to play, I mean, the game itself looks good the graphics and sound are okay, but squad-based 3rd person shooter that kind of looks like Socom us navy seals.
MAN !!! this game was really good . the story line was perfect and Guns and fighting was great . It has alternate endings and willl leave you mind blown and shocked when you get to the end. The best part to me is how you can use your sqaud. Get the game and see for yourself.
awesome game!. I never was a fan of games like this especially cod.
I only like playing action crime games (gta, saints row etc)
but I must admit I fell inlove with it the story line was great loved how you can tell your partners what to do .only thing I didn't like about it is that I bought it on a Monday . & completed the entire story mode in the same day. but playing online is just as fun so whatever :)
stunning visuals, gameplay and story. The story in this game is gripping and with stunning visuals it makes a great journey. Spec ops is defenitely a visually stunning, and unforgettable journey.
this is good game. not a COD game but good. I like COD and I like this game too. it is worth a try I think. good game.
The Biggest Sleeper Hit of 2012
Battlefield and Call of Duty are some of the biggest franchises on the market. And I love them both. But an arguement that has been tossed around these days is which shooter is more realistic. Spec Ops: The Line is one of the most realistic games I have ever played. The game has you playing as Martin Walker, a soilder along with 2 other men to rescue a soilder named John Konrad in the ruined city of Duabi. The game starts out as a standard shooter but as you begin your descent into insanity and madness, Spec Ops gives itself a new layer. Martin becomes delusional. He starts to see things, and this affects the outcome of the game. In Spec Ops, players are given a choice to do ceartin actions. There is a momment where you can choose to save your fellow soilder or rescue a whole bunch of civilians. There is no good or bad decison in Spec Ops, so use your common sense. These choices would make Commander Shepard (Mass Effect) and Geralt (The Witcher) would stumble upon. The singleplayer is an amazing expereince coupled with GREAT third person shooting. Multiplayer is also good, but not as good as singleplayer. It is basically your standard TPS but with (what I like to call) building effects. Each map in multiplayer has been raided by a sand storm, and when you destroy a part of a building. That is about it, but this has too many generic modes to call it one of the great MP's.
Spec Ops: The Line was GREAT. I loved the story, gameplay and choice. 9/10. (Sorry this review was shortish! Expect a Dragon Age II or Saints Row: The Third review soon! :D)
There is no glory in war
War shooter games are all about shooting people for the fun of it. In this game, it shows winning the war is nothing to be proud of. This game shows the no good decision or ending. The decisions are either hard to complete or hard to see the results go out. Despite its annoying cover system and boring multiplayer, its single player campaign fills in the game for this game. It is very amusing to see how they give you the bioshock feel that 2K made into a real life military.
I loved the demo and it was awesome i might buy this game soon becouse the demo had a good chunk of amazing gameplay. i really let you get a good feel for the game without spoiling much of anything
BEST 3rd person SHOOTER THAT'S OUT HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!! IF YOU LOVE IN YOUR FACE....US VS THEM KINDA ACTION THIS IS FOR YOU!!
OMG THIS GAME IS OUT OF CONTROL!!!!!!!
On nov. 15th I stood in line for 4 hrs for the 1200 release of Black ops 2 while this seemingly similar but unknown game sat on the stores game shelf. Spec Ops hmmm i thought to myself 2 days later after i had beaten COD the first night i got it. So I went back to Gamestop and bought it expecting another 1st person shooter, which is my genre, but the minute I began playing I knew that this was a diamond in the rough. 3rd person shooter, cover and shoot options ( the one thing about COD and Battlefield that I hate is the cover and run out and cover again) the game plays like rainbow six control wise, but so smooth and effortless. This game blew me away! I was hooked! I played for 10 hrs straight with my fiance glued to the tV also waiting to see what would happen next. I'm not a huge online player and this game has a great campaign with a twisted crazy psychological plot that will have you on the edge of your seat the entire ride. Twist after Twist this game brings it fast a strong! So while COD is great and all this game is superb!!! move aside COD I believe a new franchise just hit the scene. More than just a shooter, your decisions guide the gameplay. Take Modern warfare 2, Socom 4 and uncharted and mix em together you get the Line! Buy it, it's brand new and 20 bucks cheaper than BO 2. You won't be disappointed. Peace
