Oblivion great game
Oblivion is a super great game where you can do a lot of things like be in a lot of guilds such as the Thieves Guild the Mages Guild or the Dark Brotherhood etc you can use a lot of magic you can pickpocket which in this game isn't very easy and then you will get caught and guards will come after you and in the starting of the game guards are very hard to kill because they wear armor so it takes a long time to kill them when i first bought the game i was very excited about bow and arrows but they are not effective to people much at all that really made me made but you still have different weapons if your thinking about buying the game i suggest buying skyrim because it is way better but oblivion is great to skyrim has dragons though and you can use dragon powers if you stick to the story using shouts so you should just buy both skyrim and oblivion but if you had to choose get skyrim

Amazing Game
This is by far one of the best games that I've ever played. I'd say that it's better than Skyrim.
I've probably invested 500+ hours into this game.
The gameplay is amazing. The combat is pretty fluid and works very well. There are 6 sets of quests to do (Main Quests, Fighters' Guild, Mages' Guild, Thieves' Guild, The Dark Brotherhood, and all 15 (I think it's 15. It's 14-16 or something like that) Daedric Prince Quests. On top of all of that, there are also numerous Miscellaneous Quests to do around Cyrodiil.
The Game of the Year edition also comes with all of the DLC which will add several more hours into the game. The Shivering Isles expansion is pretty amazing and has some pretty cool twists to it. The Knights of the Nine expansion also has some pretty sweet content also.
The graphics are outdated but the environment and gameworld looks pretty good. The only problem with the graphics are the character models and the paper-thin leaves in the trees.
The sound is pretty nice also. The ringing of swords and shield clashing in combat sounds pretty nice.
The biggest thing about Oblivion was being able to create a class of character, beat everything with that character and then start over with a completely new character and play through it all again in a completely different way.
This is by far one of the best games I own on my PS3. If you can get it for PC, I would recommend doing that instead so that you can enjoy the vast array of mods that have been created by the gaming community.

GREAT
This game is Very good. If you have not played elder scrolls before start here. This is the simplest one. I like it better than skyrim. The only reason I gave it a 9 and not 10 is the vampire quest glitch. Shivering isles is amazing. Huge dlc. Knights of the nine is in the same map as normal game but you get weapons and armor at the end.

Bethesda softworks has done it.
I was quite pleased with this game when I got it. The graphics are great, the sound is great and it's a simple yet fun game. A king has been murdered and you play as a character who must restore peace and order to a crumbling empire. Through your perilous journey, you must solve dangerous quests, avoid bandits, and visit towns and cities. This game is awesome and I recommend this to any gamer (female or male) who is 13 and older. Despite the M rating, it is not that bad in terms of violence. There is some blood when you kill enemies and they swear once in the game but that's it.

Overall, AMAZING
I got Oblivion Game of the Year Edition for a friend's birthday (Xbox 360 version) because I knew he was a fan of the Elder Scrolls. I played it some and was hooked! I had never played Elder Scrolls before but I now can't stop playing it on my PS3 (had to by myself a version 2 days later...). I heard some people say it was super buggy but I gotta say, thats only partly true. Overall its an AMAZING game to play on the PS3. First off as I was playing it I quickly noticed it ran faster and loaded much faster on my PS3. It only got laggy once, (and it was during the quest you do to reciece Wabbajack for anyone who knows what I'm talking about). Loading times were much faster on my PS3, being on average about 3 times faster than when I played it on Xbox 360. I had two physical problems with the game but I keep in mind that I got a USED version so there is more likely to be a scratch or something from the previous owner than a problem with the game or system itself. Sometimes NPC's would lose all the audio randomly. It wasn't rare that they did that but it wasn't that common it did it either, on average it happened to me maybe 1/16 times I talked to a NPC. I could easily manage with General Subtitles enabled so it wasn't that bad. The glitch that REALLY irked me however was this wierd, ummm... IDK really how to explain. I would go inside a house or store or something and be fine. But then a few times I came out the loading screen would end and the entire TV screen would be black but I would have audio... I couldn't do nothing but I could hear the background music. I would have to restart my system BUT since I have it set to auto save really frequently I would just re-start the game and load the last save. OVERALL the game was and is still really fun. The one problem I have that isn't a glitch is a dissatisfaction with the overall size of the game map. It seemed rather small to me, especially the cities. They just seemed kind of miniscule. I still remember the opening cinematic where the camera pans around the Imperial City and the first thing I noticed was there was only like 12 buildings in the entire city. I feel like there should have been at least 3 dozen buildings in the city, and a population of at least 80 NPCs Not including the Watchmen and guards. Other than the rather small Game world size I was completely satisfied with the games. There is simply so much to do in it. O, and one other thing. I dislike that there is absolutely NO trophies in the game. It just seems stupid to me. Theres achievements for the Xbox version but no trophies for the PS3. Even though, the game is still A LOT of fun. Even with the few problems I had with it I still can't give it less than a 97/100. I'm still playing after at least 60 hours into it and I still haven't completed the main questline.
