Fun, ultra realistic.
This game is really good, the graphics are very realistic, and you can almost feel completely immersed in the experience, as if you were really skating in a suburban town. In this game, you use the analog sticks and the L2, and R2 buttons to nail tough tricks, which get easier once you get used to playing. It's a really cool game. I just got this game at GameStop a week ago, and it was a steal. It was $9.99 originally, but since I returned a game that was $4.99, that was reduced from this game's price! So it was only $5.30. What a steal, great game.

great for the price. dont expect skate type game!
i think for 10 bucks most games for ps3 or xbox 360 are worth it. theyre arent many games for 10 or under that arent sport related so when i see one i give it a try. i thought hey why dont i try this game out its only 10 bucks. tony hawk series was amazing in ps1 and ps2 but this generation it didnt do good. once skate came out all other skates games disappeared. dont expect this game to be like skate at all. this game reminded me of the old tony hawks like from ps1 which was kinda cool because i loved tony hawk pro skater series when i was a kid. the controls are the same and everything pretty much. ive only played this for about an hour and at first i flamed it hard but now it brings back memories. its kinda like american wasteland (sorry only skateboarding game from tony hawk i can relate it to in the past 3 generations of gaming) you can get off board and i love how you can do tricks you cant do in skate series. i used to love doing manuals and then like pogo around and do wallies and wallplants. thats what i liked about tony hawk that skate doesnt have. overall get this game because really what else can you buy with 10 bucks nowadays? this will have a lasting appeal if you liked tony hawk back when he was super popular. but understand its not slow moving like skate its like really fast and you cant do like 20 different moves in 1 spine or vert(i think thats what its called =/).its fun to get to play a updated style and play and graphics of an old tony hawk yet this game cant touch any of the pro skaters.

good but......
this was the last actullay good tony hawk game.but, this is a good game. great ghraphics for its time, heck, it might be better then skate 2!this is only good for the PS3 and XBOX 360.the PS2 and XBOX versions stink. but tony hawk isnt dead yet, the tony hawk pro skater remake could revive this amazing series. p.s you should pre-order the remake and halo 4

A Dissapointment
I paid 20 dollars for this game hoping to get a good TH experience, but instead I got a stale, bad controlled game. The story had no ryme or reason, and was an overall bad game. I Give it a 1.0 out of 10, a really bad game.
