A different war game.
Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is a war game different from all the others. It's not a copy-cat version of Call of Duty or Battlefield or anything like that. It's unique, and one-of-a-kind. The controls are different from COD. Normally, you'd use L1 to aim, and R1 to shoot in COD. But in this game, it's L2 to aim, and R2 to shoot. I like the fact that it doesn't try to be like COD in any way. It's its own game, and I really appreciate that about the game. Controls aside, it's a very fun game game. Great graphics, very realistic. I really enjoy and recommend this game. If you find it, get it.

What if....
Codemasters made more checkpoints and started developing the whole game with the same innovations that it currently has and with better graphics. Turning Point: Fall of liberty has some great innovations but its external standpoint made it flop. So you play as a construction worker who joins into a resistance. Starts off with you on one of the building tools in a construction site, you jumping, airplanes surfing over buildings invading NYC. Suddenly, you see a guy trying to take off his parachute after landing, once you near you press circle (O) to throw him off the construction site. But there's other options to melee him such as using him as a human shield or knock him out and taking his inventory. There's also sequences like arming bombs onto tanks which makes it fun. It doesn't give instruction such as X to insert the black wire, square to insert the pink wire, triangle to insert the green wire or circle (O) to insert the red wire. This game has potential (but not alot) and it's pretty addicting. Just because of the bad graphics and horrible controls and lack of checkpoints, it makes it more frustrating. Besides of L2 to aim or as they say it "Iron Sights" and R2 to shoot, the controls woulda been better if the controls were standard as any FPS or TPS game. Framerate issues were present, I heard they were minor glitches that doesn't change anything about the game. There are needs of improvement like more checkpoints like the train sequence after passing through trains and once you dead, you start over where you go downstairs to the terminal. What I like about this game is its melee and the setting of WWII and certainly the weapons that fit the setting. The weapons are not modern, they're past weapons which makes sense. The sound matches with the environments and the weapons but has glitches of its own. If you're a historian or a student who's favorite subject is History, you could or would be interested in this game. Overall, the game is good but coulda been better.

Turning Point:Fall Of Awesomeness
I Picked Up This Thinking It would Stink But To My Surprise It Is an Amazing Game! You fight The WW2 Invasion As Dan Carson, A Constuction Worker Who Couldent Care Less About Politics But While A normal working Day The The Enemy Perform Their Famous "Blitzkreig" Which Forces Him To Fight Along Side The American Resistance To Survive. There Is A Great Variety Of Weapons Im Only On the 3th Misson This Is What I Found So Far MP50,Gehwer 47,Thompson,M1 Garand,Pistol(forgot the name Whoops!),An MG, German Grenades,Lever Action Rifle, Sticky Time Bomb. Sounds Are Alright Not Perfect But Alright The Only Bad Thing Is that The Guns Sound TOO powerful. The Game Really Keeps You Busy I Bought This Game To Keep Me Busy While Brink Comes Out It Has. The Enviroment Is Not Detailed Perfectly But Its Great The Gameplay Makes Up For It.Like In Gears Of War You can Use Your enemy As a Human Shield Or Just Snap His Neck So This Game Deserves At 8/10 Great WW2 Game! Also You Carry The Battle from New York To washington Dc And End It London

gets boring after a short time
Let me start out with the positive thing about it. Good storyline, and that is it! The gameplay is very poor, the graphics look like playstation 1, the sound sounds like it comes from a gameboy speaker, and the weapons NEVER change. On the other hand I will give it some slack bcuz it was made in 2007, but still Call of Duty 4 and Uncharted were made that same year. Overall this game is TERRIBLE! Do NOT get.

Possibly the worst fps of this generation
Well let's start of, Your a construction worker that has been through an accident so he is unable to speak with his fellow resistance members. Ok seems like a gta 3 main character to me. So you start of Nazi's invaded newyork an your building an extension to a skyscraper. Once you pick up through the game you will experienced alot of lag and glitches one of them is zooming apparently you will freeze on zooming mode which will not allow you to shoot or get out of that mode. Unless you press random buttons to get it out of that mode. Also it some occasions of starting or loading a checkpoint your gun seems to disappear an that means your ead no matter what an nothing to do.Even though I purchase this game for at 9 dollars its horrible. So after you reach the ending heads up theres no spoilers here you climb up the ladder to reach the second floor of the Zeppelin funniest thing to your character freezes everytime you get up there an theres a whole bunch of nazi's that repeatly shoot at you. So for this game is un playable it's just that bad. Even on easy or normal you will die atleast 15-30 times a chapter or an act. The only feature I like was yusing Nazi's as a human shield like gears of wars but everyone knows that gears of wars just takes ideas off games an make it nicer. So please don't even think about getting the game if your low on money I perfer dark sector it's like an emo version of gears of wars but its alot of fun. Even on multiplayer but its hard. While what about multiplayer this game has it but none plays it that shows how terrible the game is. If this game was **** then possibly buy it but over that its garbage

good game for your collection
Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is a perfect example of how a great concept doesn't always make for a great game. In this case, the concept is Turning Point's intriguing premise: Without the voice of Winston Churchill to rally Allied forces, Hitler's Nazi regime spreads like wildfire across Europe and Africa, eventually staging an all-out assault on the United States. It doesn't take long to realize that Turning Point makes almost no use of this potential. The result is a shooter that fluctuates between mediocre and disastrously buggy. For a game that relies so heavily on the backdrop, it's remarkable how little it does with the actual story. Turning Point begins with your character working on the girders of an unfinished skyscraper in New York City as the Luftwaffe comes swarming into view. The fact that your character works construction is one of exactly two things you learn about him through the course of the game (the other being his name, Carson). That's as much character progression as you'll find. The plot itself can hardly be considered robust, either. We know the Nazis have exerted their control over the presidency and that some level of resistance is fighting through the invasion, but that's more or less it. There are no real examples of life under Nazi power and no memorable characters to share in the struggle.
