This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers

I loved this game. I could not stop playing it. The weapons, storyline and graphics were great.The blood was awesome the violence was outstanding. I really recommend this game to hardcore gamers.

So much blood and gore in the game its fantastic.Achilles the awesome amazing beast Greek Hero is so beast in the game graphics are amazing the game play is just so fun.I love this game so much I mean this is the best game of all time Achilles is like my favorite hero so this game is so bid really fun amazing graphics and it will just blow your mind and amazed you so so much.Achilles Fan Out.

Notedeath

This game is pretty decent surprisingly. It's basically the roman/greek version of DW which is very different and unique. It needs more characters definitely but the gameplay is not that bad. Graphics really amazed me but it doesn't have as much replay value as DW of course. But It's a job well done by koei, I'd say pick it up if you like hack and slash games. If you're scared that you don't like it then get the pre-owned... simple as that.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers

Grab this game if you can I had a hard time finding a copy the blood and gore are very real looking and the action is none stop my only complaint is I had a hard time getting the sound to work I had to mess with the sound settings on my ps3 for a couple of hours to get the sound to work to get the sound to work make sure the dts box is checked not the dolby box would have been nice if this info was provided in the book but again this is a great game and very hard to find I had to get my copy at best buy and they didnt have many left. This game will be the sleeper of the year

This game is perfect for: casual gamers

What an awesome game! This game will mostly appeal to all those hack and slash fans out there, particularly if you already like the Dynasty Warriors Series. Unlike most games in this segment there is plenty of blood and gore just like you would see in real war. The battle cries, sword clashing, shield blocks, screams and sounds are a splendid addition to game play and flow perfectly with the screen action. Players have unique styles and play quite differently. Environmental interaction is pretty cool also, you can pick up and throw enemy Spears, Swords, Axes, etc. Player size is a bit smaller than dynasty series and attack flow is far more graceful. Block and parry are very useful abilities and far less redundant then in most games. You can also duel with enemy commanders while all the troops circle and watch! I don't want to say to much and ruin it, but if you consider yourself a gamer, this title is an absolute must play!

Doesnt look that good

If you want a great game that focus's on greek mythology than buy Age of Mythology. It is an older game (2002) but is still played by hundreds of people everyday, online multiplayer is awesome. If you buy this and don't like it I highly recommend Age of Mythology for the PC. Less than $20 I believe.

Great Potential, will it be handled?

This is such a wide topic, so much of the retelling of Homer's The Illiad (the first letter in that is supposed to be a capital i, and the next two are supposed to be LL but lowercase) revolves around the brute force of the battles. Well I hope this game won't revolve strictly around that, strategy was a major part of the war. 3 obvious strategic plots to the story that will be impossible to miss if you want this game to sell at least 10 copies would be: A. The Trojans were expert archers and used it to their advantage, B. The Trojan Wall was impossible to get by unless by getting inside first, which brings us to C. The Greeks use of the Trojan Horse. Without those three aspects this game has nothing to do with the Trojan War. My guess is they will be included. I am looking forward to this game, hoping for a good story and good gameplay.
