Pretty Good Game
My sister got this for me and im glad she did.It has some fun gameplay but the pitching is so easy but the batting is way too hard.The sound is okay,but the anounncers call a play along time after it was finished.The graphics are bad but i can understand because of the psp limitations.overall it is a great game and it is only $5.00.

A great baseball game
Major League Baseball 2k9 is one of the greatest games for psp of all time. The graphics are amazing. When you are pitching you can see the fans in the backround jumping up and down and doing stuff the normal person would do. A fun feature of mlb 2k9 is the create-a-player thing. There are many different combinations in which your created player can have.You get to pick a stance, throwing style and the good part is that you don't have limited attributes! so you get to make your created player as bad or as good as you want him. The camera angle can't be any better. Sometimes when you hit the ball the camera zooms in on the ball and zooms out so you can see what the people in the infield or outfield are doing. Major league baseball 2k9 is a breakthrough. I can't see why not get this game.

Worst Baseball Game of All Time!!!!
Major League Baseball 2k9 for the PSP is the worst baseball game of all time. The graphics are terrible, the batting controls are worse than anything you could imagine, and worse yet, the players move and look like robots from a horror movie. In an exhibition game I played, the announcers were talking about how my team was shut out just after ONE pitch. That just put the icing on an already terrible game. MLB 2k9 couldn't even get the commentary right. Also, after I hit the ball in the Home Run Derby, the baseball practically vanished in thin air with the camera following something I couldn't see. Another annoying observation was the long loading time. After trying to find at least one thing positive to say about this game, one thing came to mind, MLB 09 The Show is out!!!!!! In every category, MLB 2k9 for the PSP failed. I would have prefered to mention at least one good thing about this game. Whatever you do, save your money and your time, this game is that bad.

2k9 will be awesome
I want this game 4 PSP because I had 2K7 and 2K8 4 PSP, and they were pretty cool. I heard of the new 2k beats from Judas Priest, Cheap Trick, Cohead & Cambria, and The Romantics. The songs sound O.K. This is going to be the best 2k game ever.

Can it improve from last year?
MLB 2K8 for the PSP was horrible. maybe 2K Sports will bounce back this year and take the throne that MLB THE SHOW currently holds in next-gen baseball hierarchy. I don't know, so far the PS3 battle is being won by The Show.
