its got its good and bads, more bads though...
This game is a budget game, so dont expect a whole great deal of things. I think this game would impress a 4-6 year old kid, it has bad grasphics okay gameplay odd controlls, and has ok sound. this game isn't a game toplay all the time, its for now and then gameplay. IF you want a good sport game buy,wii sports resort.

Cricket And Disc Golf Are The ONLY GOOD SPORTS!
This game has horrible controls and the graphics are horrible! The sports on this are horrible except disk golf and cricket! I was really upset also because I was looking forward to the soccer but it was bad mostly because of the controls. Don't get this at all even for the cricket or disc golf because they're was still flaws so I REPEAT DO NOT GET THIS!

Great game for the price!
Big Beach Sports intrigued me being one of the only games to offer Disc golf as an option. After dropping by the local store and picking this up, i quickly returned home to play with my new found gem! Due to the price, I was hesitant to get my hopes up, but my hesitation was quickly calmed upon starting play. As previously stated in another review, there is a brief tutorial of how to control the characters in the game giving the basic idea of how to play. On that note, there is generally 1-2 controls that are left out that can be discovered by the manual or experimenting with the remote. Character customization receives and A+ for this game, and with the incorporation of the DS for customizing facial features, the customization is nearly endless. The game has a basic learning curve and adapts to counter a vanilla playing style. The harder you play, the harder the game will try to counter act what you are doing. Sensor pick-up can be sketchy at times, especially in disc golf. If you attempt to throw too fast/hard, there is either a good amount of lag or would not register at all. My family has used this game with people ranging from 8 to 60 years of age with no complaints by any of them. The ability to play up to 4 players makes this game a joy to own and would suggest this game to anyone who has the spare change to afford a cheap gem!

It no Wii Sports, but still fun with friends!! 7/10
I was excited to get Big Beach Sports home and play some games with my daughter!! I popped it in and she decided she wanted to try Soccer first. The game has a short tutorial before every game which gives you the basics by showing the motions of the Wiimote. After 5 min of confusion we quit soccer. You control the players with only buttons not the d-pad. Next we tried Volleyball. This was a little easier for my 6 year old to pick-up. The timing is well done, however aiming the spike is uncontrolable. The games we enjoyed the most were the Disc Golf, and Bocce. The interface is simple and the accuracy is great. Football is fun but blocking and intercepting a pass is quirky. Cricket was entertaining and the motions while pitching is accurate however batting is irregular. When you think you have cranked a shot it trickles to the fielder and when you feel you didn't time the swing well you rocked it out of the beach!! As with any game, a little bit of practice and patience will make Big Beach Sports a really enjoyable experience for kids of all ages!!

what the?
This looks like wii sports all over again. But that could be a good thing because some of my friends think wii sports is the best game for wii. i don't. So this is a toss up. Some people will hate it and others will think it is the best game out there. As for me I don't think i will like it very much. Oh well, i will probably get it anyway out of boredom. If i were you and thinking about buying it i would play wii sports and see if you would pay more money for some new games.
