bad sensors!
I got this game because I LOVED the first one. The workout is great but the leg sensor is terrible. It doesnt count all the movements. after using it for about 3 months it just stopped working all together. they should have stayed with the other set up! not worth the money because without the leg sensor the game does not work. so I have the game and its useless.

Shockingly a really good workout!
Granted i am a bit out of shape i haven't trained in over a year really but i coming from someone who has done alot of diverse and difficult workouts i must tell you after doing the advanced workout once (which i couldn't quite give 100% because of fatigue) i am sore the next day. It was a great and suprisingly challenging workout (inline skating especially) . I was very impressed with this very innovative unique and diverse workout game.

I LOVE IT EXCEPT FOR THE LEG SENSOR!
I love this workout with the exception of the leg sensor. I do the squats and it is go lower and I am almost on the floor! Besides the squats it is great. I disagree with the comment about anyone over 45, I am 50 and overweight and I love this workout.

Its OK
I got this game so that i could get in shape so i could do many of the things i enjoy. The game makers had a great idea and are very close to getting the game to being perfect. The main problem with the game is the leg sensor. It has a lot of trouble recognizing the squat height and tells me that i am too low while i am standing up. Overall aside from the leg sensor it is a great game.

Amazing game for getting fit
Best workout for the wii that I have used. Comes with a heart rate monitor and wireless motion sensors and a restaining band. Plus it's compatible with the wii balance board! I LOVE USING THIS! I recomend it to everyone who wants to workout but hates the gym or has trouble with motivating yourself to do a fitness dvd. This workout is fun and challenging and never the same!

Great workout program so far....
I was not fully convinced this program would work I has some issues with the sensors and such but I have so far been using this for roughly 4 weeks, I have gone through the 3 week beginning training and so far 1 weeks of the 9 week training on medium and I can garentee anyone who is thinking about using this to get in better shape that it does in fact work if you put the work in. The sensor on the leg sometimes in some activities doesnt registed 100% but who cares? the extra hard work you have to put in only helps you get in shape more, also the straps that the program comes with SUCK! Id highly recommend just getting some free weights which me and my girlfriend have used since week 2 and it makes the workout so much less frustrating. In the 4 weeks I have droped over 5 pounds and .7% of body fat, I started at 189 and am now down to 184 and went from 26.1 body fat to 25.4, however I think also my eating habits have also helped on this, making sure you eat 4 or 5 smaller meals instead of 3 big meals and drinking less carbonated drinks and more water I believe has really helped me on this, the best part of it is that everyday you have new workouts and challenges, the hardest part for me at the gym was I would get tired of doing the same things everyday, this has so far kept me motivated and hopefully will keep me on the right path. I recommend this to anyone looking to get back in shape, especially if you are a person who doesnt have alot of time to get out to work out.

Wouldn't Suggest It
I am a little out of shape and rather short, but the frustration with the leg sensor was out of this world. The sensor would register about one out of every two or three movements. I moved the leg strap up and down and relocated my sensor bar everywhere. I e-mailed EA Games in mid January for assistance and still have not heard from them (month later) even though they have forwarded my problems to their technical staff. Too late to take it back. I just wasted my money as I've quit using it five weeks into the nine week program. Too much frustration and agrivation, who needs it?

Shouldn't be used by anyone over 45
This is not designed for anyone over 45 unless they are already is good shape. My frustrations with the sensors is probably going to make me stop using it. You work your tail off and it tells you, you can do better because the sensor doesn't register. I wish I could figure out what to do with. I refuse to buy the sensor from the previous game because they couldn't design one that works.

Just Beautiful! But Here Is a Heads Up
Hey Everybody,
The workouts are awesome; truly a challenge. But, it's a shame I had a hard time for the leg sensor to register accurately. If this is or becomes a problem, let me tell you how to resolve this.
If anyone have the leg strap for the other EA Active workouts, this can be used perfectly for the new leg sensor. I first tested my hypothesis by putting on the old leg strap for EA Active Workout, then sliding the leg sensor for EA Active Workout 2 in the old leg strap like a nunchuck, and WALAA! It registered quickly and accurately for all the exercises I tested. NO MORE! breaking my neck, back and whatever else to get the leg sensor to register, and just to hear at the end of my workouts, "YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT"; when I was working like a racehorse to get the leg sensor to register.
I'm happy to say that this experiment made some favorable conclusions. The leg sensor for EA Active 2 works perfectly when you slide it in the old leg strap for EA Active workout. But, for the leg sensor to fit like the nunchuck, you must cut the strap off of the leg sensor from the seam, so that only the leg sensor is in the old leg strap with nothing hanging from it.
I am a real happy camper now.
May you all reach your goals.
P.S. All those who do not have a leg strap from the other EA Active Workouts, you can still purchase one from a store who carry video games like Gamestop.
