Great, tough workout
I was looking for something to get me off the couch and moving around. I tried the Wii Fit and it worked to get me moving but i wanted something to really feel a burn. I felt that burn after the first workout session with the NFL Training Camp. If you have played football in the past you'll remember alot of these drills. It's been 6 years since i've put on pads and I feel like after this 60 day challenge, I'll be able to strap them on again if needed. Only problem I had with this game was trying to find it. GameStop was the only place i was able to find it at the store.

Great game for the price
There are a few good things about this game... First, you can workout with your favorite NFL team and players. Second, the workouts really get your heart rate going (The included heart monitor is great!). And Third, there are so many workouts to choose from. You can create your own customized workout to get the results you want. Overall... Great game!

Good "game"
I bought this the day after it came out. It was pretty difficult at first but it got easier as the days went by. I selected random team workouts for the first 2-3 weeks so I could get used to it before embarking on the 60 day challenge. At this time, I've done ALMOST everything the game has to offer. As far as the effectiveness of the workouts go, I'd give it an 8.5, since they do make you sweat and burn calories.
The only thing holding it back from a 10 from me is that I would like to see more strength training. However it is easy to add more muscle building, just get some actual weights and use them in anything that requires the resistance band and there you go.
As far as the peripherals go, I haven't had any real problems. They don't work as well if the batteries are running low even though the light will still be bright. I assume this may have been a problem for other people. The bands are very adjustable, and pretty comfortable too. They had some latex sewn in that keeps them from sliding around which is nice unless you're wearing baggy sweats...then you get non-stop wedgies. I will also mention that the graphics are okay, nothing that will make you drool by any means though. And as far as picking your own trainer goes it's not as cool as it sounds. They are just an avatar with your favorite players jersey on....no voice work though, it's all done by the same guy.
Anyways, I hope this review answered some lingering questions. Final verdict: Get the game and get off your rear and get in shape...
Sincerely, a formerly VERY lazy gamer.

Great workout game that keeps you motivated.
My wife got me this game for Christmas. I have only done one of the 60 day challenge workouts so far but have done 2 of the game generated workouts and 1 custom workout. My wife has even joined in trying to make it a competition. I must say I thought it would be a light work out with some fun football drills, HA, by the time Roddy White, my personal trainer is done with me I'm sweating and ready to hear him tell me to get some water and rest up for my next workout. My wife and I got brave and instead of using the stretch band we got weights that wrap around out wrists for more weight. I have only had one excersise that gives me an issue getting the device to recognize some movements but nothing major. I would highly recommend BUT be ready to actually workout.

Great Game
Not sure what the lower score for bad detection was about, I have had this game for weeks and the only time that the detection wasn't right was when I had a senor on upsidedown (that was frustrating).
If you like football, if you looking for a light workout, (you can make a custom workout that would kill you if you wanted but the default ones are fairly easy), then this game is for you. Why play madden and eat doritos when you can throw the rock and burn a few calories. Great idea, can't wait for them to make an actual football game like this.

Fun and good work out game.
Not sure what the previous people are talking about with the game not reading your reps because I have no problems what so ever. I think it has to do with the placement of where they are wearing the leg band. Anyways get this game if you want a really good and fun work out. It targets different areas of the body everyday and you can also customize your own workouts as well.

Doesn't recognize your body movement!!
During workouts when you're doing the DB drills, the game doesn't recognize your movements for the lunges, the foot fires or catching footballs. I tried for 15 minutes to get the game to recognize the lunges by plugging and disconnecting the nunchuk, standing on either side of the tv and wii sensor. It didn't work, rather frustrating that I traded in 10 games to get this trainer and it doesn't even work. I WOULDN'T recommend this. Don't waste your hard earned money people!!!!

Great Exercise Program For Some, Not All
This is my 1st review since I became employed at GameStop in Virginia Beach. I bought this game at release and I have had 3 workouts so far, I will explain the good and the bad: The good, the workouts are approved by the NFL and are actually really good, 70 different workouts and many different modes, the 60-day workout is really good to get in shape if you want to play football or stay ultimately loose, regular workouts are really good as well, and those can be changed to you liking. Also, the achievements and other modes are good to mess around with, especially the shop. There are unfortuntely some neutral points, the graphics are ok and done well, however they could have been done a little bit better, they are on par only with Madden NFL 3DS (which comes out March 16, 2011), the heart monitor is good but can come loose and you can also really make your forearm hurt with it at times, the leg band is good but this is where it becomes bad, during some drills especially leg press drills and other drills where you are on the ground, the sensors will not read although you are doing the drill exactly as stated and it will say that you are not standing still or the rep will not count, this become extremely frustrating, and can become cumbersome, also the fact that the new price for this is $100, being an exclusive to Wii only, and the fact that a used program with all items costs only $44.99 online, and $49.99 at stores is extremely frustrating and not necessary. One other point, there is absolutely 0 mention on how to assemble the band together and it actually takes a science to make sure that it doesn't fall loose midrep and cause injury which nearly happened to me. I hope you enjoy this review and please take what I mentioned to heart. The Final Rating: 8.5/10
