Pretty nice game
I never knew the history channel made games and I thought that was kind of cool. I like the game overall. I thought the graphics could be better and more levels.

Worst. Game. EVER!
HC: BftP is the absoulute worst Wii game ever. Lets just say if you played this, you would swallow your own head. So yes, it is a ton of garbage.

Never buy
This probably one of the worst games I've ever played. If there is someone out there to give this game the time of day, get the classic controller first! If you have the remote pointing at a 2 degree angle, you'll look up at the screen and you have to hold it perfectly straight. Graphics look like they're from an N64, and the enemies fall to the ground like falling logs. The only people who should play this are little kids who can't get any of the awesome M shooters for Wii like Modern Warfare Reflex Edition. Don't buy!

Great Game.
I got this game in a bundle pack for Christmas, otherwise I would have never heard of it. I really don't care what anyone says, this game rules. Although it could be better, as in multiplayer and AI, I still loved it. It isn't as bad as anyone says. Graphics, why do they need to be so stinking realistic? I really don't care if they look cg or if they look real. No one should. The storyline is great, very historical. The controls are good, although there were times when they would mess up, but I would fix it and still beat the enemies. The AI isn't really smart, they usually stay in the same place and don't try to run for cover. It is pretty challenging, but it isn't really hard. I beat four levels in a day. It would be better if there was multiplayer also. It would make it a lot more fun. All in all, a great game. Very historical, and great for anyone who likes shooters.

Awful
This is probably the worst shooter game I have ever played. The graphics stink and the motion aiming is very badly coordinated. It is too easy and the backgrounds are blocky and awful. Enemies don't interact with any environments and cover is useless. The one thing I found any good about this game is that it is actually very factual. The weapons look fake and are impossible to aim correctly. Accuracy doesn't vary between any weapon, so a pistol would work as well as a pistol at long distance. The motion for the melee attack doesn't work and you end up looking away and dying. This was a total waste of money. I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone who actually care if they play a great game or an awful really stupid game. Overall this is a pathetic game.

Slightly worried
I surf gaming sites constantly. I haven't heard much more than a peep about this game. I won't be in a rush to purchase it unless I know a little more about the title. The History Channel name does not a good game make. Caveat Emptor!

sounds cool
i've played history channels other game on the civil war, and it brought non stop action with info on the war too, but there where way to many glitches (men die for no reason, invisible barrier blocks your shot, ect...). i think its worth looking into.

game fanatic
I have been to Honolulu Hawaii where the war started. So now i am a World War 2 fanatic. Also a game fanatic. This game looks really good. Any war game with strategy (Call of duty-3, and Medal of Honor) is a really good game. Trust me i will definatlly reserve this.
