James Cameron's Avatar: The Game
im a fan of the movie
im not gonna lie it was great an all but u r only navi it uses one type of controller and u cant play online almost forgot its coop storymode meaning a friend can join any time by pressing the a button
Very good game
This game is a very fun game with lots of action. The gameplay is fun except that it is very short. I beat the game in 6 hours and 56 min. I like how you have to do certain movements(which are shown in the game) to defeat different things(AMPsuits, scorpions, etc.)
It Was a SHOCK
i thought this game was goning to have totally bad graphics and the gameplay to be stupid becasue it was on wii this game is EXTREMELY fun if you loved the movie *just my opinion* and at the end of the game it could have been a little strikingly better and unlike most wii games this one isn't very dumb and terrible
Pretty decent Wii game
This is one of the best combat Wii games I have played, the weapons are perfect for using the stealth moves in the game the only downside is that once you beat the game there is nothing left to do and you cant ride vehicles, or many creatures.
Good. Not as good as the 360 version but good.
This is a stealth based game where you can only play as the navi.I have a 360 and a wii and I play them both and I got this game for both.Admitedly I liked the 360 version better just because you can choose to be a human or an alien,And playing as a human is amazingly fun but playing a as a navi on the 360 wasnt very fun.The controls were confusing and the gameplay just overall wasnt very good. But playing as a navi on the wii and sneaking up on people is actualy pretty fun.The stealth on this game is fun but, when you get in a regular fight it gets hard because the controls for the staf are a little annoying and touchy. As far as graphics go,they are ok for a wii game, but the sound is horrorble. At times it sounds like a ds game. But all in all this is a descent game.
Great Game For Wii, But the Ads Lied.
Ok, I played this hard, and I mean HARD! 5 hours of seeing how many RDA punks I could shoot. This is, by far, one of the most advanced games for the Wii. Still, you may have read that stuff about fighting for your cause, and twenty weapons per clan? Yeeeeaah no. That is not in the Wii version. You play as a conflicted Na'vi, and you use 2 weapons w/ power ups. The other stuff is mostly for PS3 and 360. Oh, and those pictures of a Na'vi riding a tiger like creature on the ground? Not for the Wii. But what the Wii does have is amazing! The thrill of rolling on the ground then springing up to nail RDAs with arrows, or bashing them in the heads with my staff! The ecstasy of riding a Banshee and firing at RDA vehicles! With plenty of Add-Ons, great graphics (for the Wii at least), and a killer storyline, this game is worth it even if your not an Avatar Fan.
it's up there
Just having tried it for the first time, I fell into it with a thud! Rates up there with games like POP Forgotten Sands & Resident Evil 4 but in a slightly different direction. Definitely a keeper & repeater
well this game is a stealth game. so unles you are riding on your dragon thing your going to be sneeking up on people.
Games Camerons avatar is one of my favorite games on the wii. The graphics are great and very realistic added with the sounds. The storyline isn't the same as the movie but still very good. I haven't beaten the game but the length is still good. The only mode you can play on is the story mode which you can play two player on. When you play two player mode you can join in just by clicking the a button on the remote and your in the game. Also the two player camera angle is great because it's not a split screen its in the middle of the two avatars so as long as you stay close together it's great. The controls are great except for flying the banshee because you fly it by tilting your nunchuk and it's hard. The sounds are so realistic and are really cool
Not necessarily great, but it's good. The graphics are phenomenal, but the controlling the character part is a little off. Character controls are a bit unfocused sometimes. The storyline is basic (saving a world from invasion/ good vs. evil). The parts where you have to do stealth attacks are great since I'm not the best stealth attacker. Finding the totems are somewhat complicated since they're not right out there, which is good. The flying with the banshee part is still something to get used to since it said in the game how to guide the banshee, but the control to move it is a bit agitating since it doesn't control the creature right away. Upgrading and using the weapons is fun since I'm more of a bow and arrow person rather than a smack to the head type. Lastly, the game is moderately good and is a game for someone who is very patient. Plus, if I'm correct, I have heard that the game features a create your own character feature, which gives the game more points since I love games that have that feature.
