Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Fun, strategic, shooter, AWESOME
From what I remember, this game was really awesome. I ordered it online and got the wrong disc so I don't really remember the details. Overall, awesome game.
A must for fans !!!
Ok so i just got it today and so far AWSOME ...... If you have played any before you will love the third installment . Do not expect the graphics to be anything close to what the 360 or ps3 would reproduce but it is right on par with the rest of the Metroids .. Game play is a learning curve for sure but once you get that down its all out warfare and fantastic ....
Great game, could've worked on a few things.
It was a great game overall, I enjoyed it, but the game itself brought up more questions for me than answers. Questions like why did all of a sudden Samus was working for the federation and talking to other hunters. The controls were a little hard to master, but eventually I got it down, died a few times trying to but i got it. The game itself is the odd one out though because it doesn't exactly feel like a metroid prime game, more like halo.
This game is not well put togheter, the boss battles are dumb and it takes so many bullets to kill anyone on this game... I lost intrest after the first five mins. DO NOT buy this game!!!!... You probly can't, but trust me on this...
One of the Best Games on the Wii
Metroid Prime 3 is one of the best games on the Wii. At $5 it is an absolute steal. While the graphics are lower res textures and less polygons than other contemporary counterparts, the design is topnotch. All the levels and structure designs are very unique and nothing is uninteresting to look at. This game looks a lot better while playing it than the game stills suggest and it really pushed the Wii hardware to its limits. While I hate scanning things, the feature does provide you with helpful hints and strategies. Gameplay is great and provides plenty of the classic Metroid features. I have not beaten the game yet, so I am unable to speak for its replay-ability, but for $5 you really can not go wrong with Metroid Prime 3.
love love love love this game!
what a freaken awesome game!!!!! ive been playing videogames for a while and this is one ill never 4get. this definetly made me get into the metroid games. and with this price you cant go wrong. hopefully more metroid to come in the future. dont let metroid other m be the last one!
Awesome, but HARD!
I love this game. It, unlike other games refuses to walk you through. You have to figure most of everything out yourself, which presents a GREAT challenge. The graphics are state-of-the-art for a game made in 2007! there is some BEAUTIFUL scenery in this game, which is my main motivation for beating it. Don't expect a regular FPS though. If all you want to do is blow up some baddies, get Call of duty, or some game like that. The main challenge in this game, is to find your way around (which is harder then you think) and complete the objectives. All in all, I give it a 10!
A strong close to the Prime trilogy
Just like the last two games, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption proves that Metroid can excel as a first-person shooter. The standard assortment of classic weapons return (missles, beams, ect.), plus there's a few new abilities that center around the use of Phazon corruption--a super-powered state that let's you wipe out enemies quickly, but at the cost of draining your energy. Over the course of the game, you'll find yourself traveling back and forth between several alien worlds...all of which possess an imaginative array of flora, fauna, and lore to match. Yes, everything here is still very Metroid--exactly what you'd expect from a top-shelf Nintendo title. However, the Wii controls can be a bit cumbersome; moving with the nunchuk's analog stick and aiming with the Wii remote definitely takes some getting used to (again, here's another game that could've benefited greatly from Classic Controller compatibility). Fortunately, the awkward controls are the only blemish on this otherwise superb sci-fi shooter.
got me hooked
This game is what got me hooked to my wii. I don't think, other than brawl, there was a game I played as much as this. It showed me you can play action games effectively on the wii! The controls were awesome, the boss fights were epic, even the in-betweens got my adrenaline pumping!
Arise Dark Samus
This game is mainly about Samus being corrupted by some blue substance (forgot what it was called ^_^). I like the fact that you can freely aim with the Wii remote, the graphics are better than most games on the Wii (at the time), and the game is fun overall. My favorite part of this game is the fact that you have a "hyper-beam" attack at all times.
