For the Mystery Lovers!
I largely disagree with almost every review I read on this game. If you like mystery games, then you will like this one.
I have played several mystery games and this is one of the best, most intriguing storylines. Every thing you do makes perfect sense, the sounds and music are PERFECT for the background, and the puzzles are pretty cool.
I got stuck twice, once because I figured out a puzzle too early, and once again when I simply didn't see that there were more pages to click on in the book (TURN THE SPARKLE OPTION ON).
As for the mundane tasks people speak of, simply skip them if you don't want to do them by setting the alarm clock. The controls are not as broken as people say, and I have read that people hate the load times which I don't understand because they are like a second. Are people these days that impatient?

A huge let down.
Nancy Drew has been sleuthing since the 1930’s and is still going strong. In “White Wolf of Icicle Creek” (abrv. ICE) she makes her debut on the Nintendo Wii. This is a remake of a version on the PC. ICE is a point and click adventure which has you traveling to Canada in order to solve a mystery of sabotage. The game lasts about 10 hours, and isn’t very entertaining. Different chores you must do every in-game morning (cooking, cleaning) become repetitive and annoying. There are loading times sprinkled throughout the game which detracts from the game immensely. To look on the bright side, characters are bright and colorful with distinct personalities and puzzles are realistic and fun. Now, let’s go back to the flaws. My main complaint can be summoned up with two words; motion controls. Using motion controls for cooking, throwing snowballs, and solving puzzles sounds great, but the controls are so broken, words cannot describe how bad it is. Instead of doing “realistic throwing motions” I had to shake my Wiimote like a soda can, I felt like a fool. My review may sound I am only pointing out a bunch of negative elements, but there aren’t many positive factors involved. Nancy Drew is awesome, but this game isn’t doing her any justice. Case Closed.
