Fun but to hard
This is a good game but,it is to hard.Hitting is hard and and if your opponent hits your best pitch you lose it.
WAY too hard!!
I bought this, thinking it would be a good baseball game. Well, I was wrong. The controls are broken, and that means the other team will score higher than you thought. My last game I played on this, the score was a total of 63-0!! It's that broken. DON'T BUY THIS unless you have an Xbox 360 and play it on that. I have never played on the Xbox and I do NOT have ANY plans buying it for another system again!
This game is unbeatable you should buy it if you have the chance even better than mlb2k11 really good for this price
Awesome game. Very cool, arcade like, and better than 2k. Even though its by 2k.
This is still the best baseball game for Wii. It might be the best baseball game since the original RBI for nes or MLB 2K5. Just busted it out for the start of the season.
i love this game
this is a awesome game it is great. i also recommend the bigs 2. GET THIS GAME!
Great baseball game!
The Bigs is a great game! I'm borrowing it from a friend and I really like it! The camera angle is prety good (not the best), and the controls are OK. The interface is good and so are the statistics. The challenge isn't even a challenge. The game is really easy. The pitching is WAY to easy. This is a tip: If the person is a righty batter, pithch the ball high in the top right corner. If they're a lefty bater, pitch it high in the left corner. Hitting is way too easy. I crushed the Pirates 11-1. The graphics are really good, too. The sound is OK. I don't really like the songs, but the announcing is phenominal. The team and player variety is great because you get to be every team including the American and National League All-Star teams. I really enjoy this game. I love playing Rookie Challenge, but the bad part is that there's no challenge and when you create your rookie, there's not a lot of choices to chooe from.
A very fun game
I am a baseball player and there fore I really like the sport, But when someone makes fun of the type of sport that I love with a stupid video game I don't buy it. This on the other hand is awesome! Most baseball games are like 2k9 and they kinda are about the same. With this you can make awesome catches and HUGE home runs. When I first played The Bigs it was with my friends at a sleep over party. We all played this game and we all had a blast! So about a week after the party I bought my first Wii game (Wii Sports came with the Wii)! My big brother and I play it from all the time. The controls can be hard to get used too but once you do its a HUGE amount of fun. But you can't get a lot of your stats... I really like to keep track of those things. So all in all Controls are a 6, Animation is an 8, Interface is a 7, Sound is an 8, Stats is a 4, and Team/Player variety is a 10!
Not the best, but a great game!
The bigs is a hard game to get used to, and to master the controls. i played it for months and couldn't figure everything out but what is the fun of a game that is easy? The pitching is kind of a skill you either have or don't when it comes to The Bigs. The batting isn't too complex nor is any part of this game really, once you get it down and understand what you are doing and where to position your swing you will be sending the ball flying. The Bigs is a very interactive game, and in my point of view the closest thing to actually going out and playing baseball. For a wii game, the graphics are pretty superior compared to many other sports games, or any type of game actually. i have, and will continue to recommend this game as it is an excellent and very exciting game to play.
Okay, so when I first got this game I thought it would be like a 2K6 or something. But it's not. At the start, you are a rookie in the minor leagues, for like, one whole day. Actually kind of stupid if you would ask me. But with the controls, it is impossible to hit a homerun without your big play meter filled up. With every team though, they have all the players, but when you steal a player that is a pitcher, you can't even play them. When I stole Scott Kazmir from the Devil Rays, I couldn't even pitch him! MY GOSH! By the end of the first day of playing it I was done man, the controls where screwy, the teams were heckka weird, and on top of that, Magglio Ordonez couldn't hit for his like on this game, when Frank Cattalanotto was one of the best players in the league! Kenny Lofton air mailed the dang ball every time, when Rocco Baldelli could throw out Jaun Pierre from the wall! If I were you I'd take some HUGE consideration before buying this screwed up game.
