Not the Tennis Game You're Looking for. Virtua Tennis 4 for the Wii was a very disappointing game for me. I bought this game thinking I would be swinging the Wii remote like an actual racquet (forgive me if I should have known better, I'm a novice to the series and tennis in general) and was hit with the sideways Wii remote brick wall. Yes, you press one, two, A, and B to play this game. You don't use the nunchuck at all (you move with the D-pad) and I find this to be a display of poor effort on the developers side. A few good things about the game would be the graphics and the sound (a little). They do have a mode where it's a first person view and you simulate swinging a racquet but I find it difficult and not entertaining mostly because you can't control your player and it's incredibly difficult to hit ONE ball. The party games are great fun and teach you more skills than the tutorial itself. Then there's the world tour mode. I have not completely played through it but from what I understand it's four seasons where you play with your created character and try to reach tennis stardom status. It's pretty good and should keep you entertained for a couple of hours. When you put the whole Virtua Tennis package together you get a game that is not as fun as you would hope unless you like button based tennis games ON THE WII! I would highly recommend Grand Slam Tennis. This game is so good that I just watched reviews and wanted it immediately. It uses your actual hand movements down to wrist twists to determine a shot. So if you find a GS with one in stock GRAB IT! Then let me know where you got it from so I can get one :-) 6/30/11

Not Really Worth it I'd get this if it was thirty dollars but fifty! No way! They're better games that are fifty dollars don't get this ...........just yet. Once it lowers down to thirty bucks. 3/8/11
