Very good controller if you want to save money
This isn't the best controller ever. A microsoft made controller is obbiously is better, but that dosent mean this controller isnt good. This controller is actually great. If your looking to save money, this is the way to go. it feels like axbox controller. the only thing that feels different is the triggers, and the bumppers.

Triggers get stuck
Pulling the trigger once causes it to be stuck in a barely-on state recognized by most games as a continuous trigger hold. I would not recommend this controller to a friend. Buy a real X-Box controller from Microsoft. It's worth the money. The quality of this item is unacceptable.

manually install "Microsoft Common Controller"
It works great but installation can be difficult. You have to manually install the Microsoft common controller drivers on Windows 7. In Device Manager right click on the controller and update driver. Chose Browse > pick from installed drivers and select Microsoft common controller. It will tell you it's not recommended but it's the only way to install this controller.

Horrible
The shape feels off, the sticks have pretty much no weight in them, the bumpers don't feel like they're there, and the triggers have too much weight in them and feel a bit shorter in length than the normal 360 controller

Worth your money...
This controller is really worth your money. True, its made of cheap plastic but it works perfectly. Ohh.. and this also works for PC, on Vista you just plug it in and BAAAM!

Not great but it works.
I bought this controller expecting a little more than I should have. I went to GameStop to purchase my reserved copy of Halo 4 and a new/used controller so I could do some co-op play with a buddy. The GameStop worker informed me that "the GameStop controller was just as durable as the normal Xbox controller." Durable, yes... But if your looking for performance this controller is a disappointment. Like other reviews have said, this controller is pretty bad for FPS games. The joysticks don't react to slight movements so if your trying to do some fine tune aiming in any FPS this is gonna be very annoying. I haven't played any other games with it but I can tell its just not up to par. Get a normal used Xbox controller over this one. I regret my purchase.

Just bought it and can't use the home button.
i just bought this controller and i already cant use the home button on it so when my friends try to contact me i have to either use another controller or shut my x box off immediatly.

The Way To Go
I actually like this controller better than the one that came with my XBOX. The joystick buttons click down more comfortably. The controller feels the same as the Microsoft ones. I don't mind playing with the cable. I'm never far enough away or have tons of cords lying around to justify the need for wireless anyway, and at half price it was a great deal. I was a bit leery about buying a controller that was not the "normal" one. I wasn't crazy about Mad Katz PS2 controllers etc. being oddly shaped and have useless features.
Bottom line is if you need a controller and don't mind wired it's the way to go ; if not for the nostalgia too.

Decent.
It takes some getting used to because the controller is slightly smaller than the original Xbox 360 controllers and it messes with you a bit for a while. The plastic is pretty cheap which i've noticed off the bat, but it isn't breakable unless you have a hammer. The XYAB buttons are a bit loose fitted but nothing to complain about. I like the triggers on the controller because they have a bit more resistance compared to the normal controller and sorta makes shooting more fun. The microphone slot isn't that great. Everyone can hear you perfectly, but you hear them with a muffled digital sound but can make out what they are saying. I would listen to the other reviews though and not risk getting the controller as only a couple seem to work fine and the others break.
