Does not live up to the original.
This was a pretty fun game in all.I like it and all but it starts off to slow.My main complaint is that it did not live up to banjo kazooie or banjo tooie.I really don't like the car mechanic compared to the collecting mechanic.I think they should have kept the collecting because it was really just more fun than this.

Boring
I was a little disappointed in this game, granted it was $10.00 and came with a free copy of Viva Pinata, I wasn't wowed at the results of the game. The graphics were better then the actual gameplay. There are different places to explore and different things to do but I was bored after playing for about a half an hour. It came off repetitive with the side missions and I can see where the developer was going with with the game but failed to succeed. The game is a tad child like but not one of the best Banjo Kazooie games in the series.

A Breath Of Fresh Air
This game is unique in that it allows you to create your own designs for cartoony vehicles that can range from planes to submarines in order to fulfill the objectives. The missions vary from races to collection quests, but the free-roam aspect is much more entertaining than the individual quests. You can spend hours roaming the separate worlds and playing with the endless design choices of in Mumbo's workshop. However, the graphics are dated, and the physics of the game are often frustrating. This game is definitely for younger gamers and may come off as silly to older players, but is still fun nonetheless.

NOT traditional Banjo, but still good!
True, this game was disappointing in that it was not really similar to Banjo Kazooie or Banjo Tootie. However, this game is still fun if you look at it in a completely new light. It is very reminiscent of past Banjo games with a completely new twist and style of play. It is not a platformer, although it has some elements of it. It is based upon completing challenges and collecting jiggies, trophies and musical notes as well as getting new parts to make bigger and better vehicles. It is extremely fun to take time to construct the perfect vehicle for each challenge to get the best time possible.
The environments are well constructed and will remind you of past Banjo games. The characters are all fun and you feel like each place has its own personalities and stories. The challenges repeat themselves a little from act to act (races and collection stuff), but there are usually plenty of different ones to break up any repeats.
It is also fun to play with friends and see who can make the coolest vehicles. The multiplayer challenges are kind of boring and not too many people are playing, but if you are super bored they can give you something to do. There isn't really much of a story, but that is not essential to Banjo where the fun is in the challenges and quirky, sarcastic humor.

A Rare Dissapointment
All these years people have been waiting for a true Banjo-Threeie , and we get this. It's a completely different game with Banjo-Kazooie slapped onto it. If you are expecting a true "Banjo-Kazooie" game, do not waste your time. Microsoft ruined Rare.
