A Masterpiece
I am a huge Bioshock fan and have been ever since the first game. I loved the story line of the original game, and continued with the series. After a short delay, I decided to buy Bioshock Infinite to play. A game has never blown me away like this game has. The graphics are top notch, the game is actually challenging on a normal difficulty, and makes it interesting, the gunplay and the ability to jump onto different levels of maps is great. The story line is unreal. I just finished the game and the plot of the story blew me away, it got me expecting one thing and gave me something completely different. The only dislike I have with the game is the Vigors. They seem generic and not unique, but the ability to tie two together to make a combo is a great addition. Overall the game is very solid, but really does not have any replay value. A great game for the casual and hardcore gamers who are looking for a break to only play a single player game. Probably gave me about 10-14 hours of gameplay to complete the story mode. I would play the first Bioshock before you play this one, part of the story will only make sense if you have beaten the first game.

TERRIBLE!!!
This is almost the worst game I've ever played. The graphics were great so it had me hoping, but the gameplay mechanics are terrible. The story drags on and on without ever revealing enough for you to know what's going on. I took this game back to Gamestop the day after I bought it.

Simply Incredible
This game blew me away every second I was playing it, and it is still sticking with me more than a month after completion. I guess I'll start with the story. First, the characters - the game makes you really care about the amazingly crafted characters, good or bad, unlike many other games. I was extremely immersed in the story throughout the game; I always felt like I actually had to accomplish something, rather than mindlessly completing quests, so I always had motivation and I always felt like I was Booker DeWitt. The ending might be the greatest part of the game for me, it tied the game together in a very complex way and had a completely unexpected twist that left me staring awestruck at the credits, trying to figure out what just happened. Next, the gameplay. I'm not a big fan of horror games, and the first two Bioshock games were really the highest level of fear I could handle in a game, motivated by the story (again, very immersive and interesting). However, Infinite was not as frightening, considering much of the game took place outside in broad daylight, but it did make my heart race. The game, once again, combines a traditional shooter with magical powers that you wield in the palm of your hands, and changing more than just the name from plasmids to vigors, and Eve to salts. I never once felt bored playing, and I loved some of the new features like zipping around on sky-lines and opening tears that would aid you in combat. Now onto the graphics. Every little detail was paid attention to, even single blades of grass. Infinite also adds its own style that is different from other games, even the first two in the series. Every point in the game is a beautiful graphical experience, rivaling standing atop a mountain in Skyrim. Now that I've rambled on for a while, I would like to say one final thing: Bioshock Infinite continues the tradition of Bioshock games being more than just entertaining games, and becoming entertaining, interactive art, and for me, it does this even more than the first two.

Deep, Compelling, And Fantastic
Bioshock Infinite has gotten so much anticipation that it can be sickening. If this game disappointed, not only I, but almost every other hardcore gamer would cry. Thankfully, that is NOT the case. Bioshock Infinite is not only the best game of the year so far from story, graphics, and gameplay perspective, but it is likely to be the most memorable game of the year. The game starts light, but mysterious, while the ending portion is dark, and makes much more sense. As for the middle, there are quite a few dragged out moments and scenarios where you are told that your target is somewhere else, and you have to go get this key in order to proceed. It feels fairly obnoxious for a game this big to be this padded out. However, I LOVE the first six hours and the last 2 hours. Gameplay in this game is fast and fun, and you always feel like the most powerful man in the room. However, boss battles can be a bit of a drag, and the battles with Handymen, while intense and fair, are hardly rewarding. However, the game has a big upside. Elizabeth. She is probably the best A.I. companion that I have ever had, and while she does get a bit less likable near the end, she brings a sweet and lighthearted side to the game's fantastic narrative. Which brings me to the game's conclusion. Nostalgic and riveting are the only words that I will use to describe it. In the end, Bioshock Infinite is a must play. It's world, atmosphere, and story are as compelling as it's characters, gameplay, and graphics. A few minor complaints aside, this game is among the best of the generation.

Better than the other two
This is a great game and if you like the Bioshock series you will love this one. Being off the bottom of the ocean and now flying in the air is great twist. The guns are so much better in this one to me. You will love this game if you have played and enjoyed the others.

Absolutely Amazing
This is a master piece! The story it tells is praise worthy!!! I'm not a fan of first person shooters, I'm not even a fan of the Bioshock series, but this was so good and well done I would recommend it to anyone. If you like epic stories, good action, and a good twist, this is the game for you.... Do yourself a favor and play it! I won't describe the hands on experience but you will love it!

A little bit over rated
First off it's a really good game, the graphics, the story, the atmosphere, all good. But that's just it, it's only good. The main problem, possibly the only, is the gameplay. The gun play is pretty boring, while there is a larger variety of weapons you can only have two at time. Infinite copies and pastes all the bad from bioshock but removes all the good. The vigors are a little disappointing as well. They are very bland and boring, all are reskins with only with about 3 new ones. The story is amazing, so good in fact that I have to consider it the best story ever. The only thing stopping me from giving it a 10 is the gameplay. So if you only care about gameplay and no story I'd rent it, but if you like story over gameplay it is a must buy.

Amazing Story that Ended too Soon
I was apprehensive to get this at first because it wasn't set in Rapture, which in my opinion is the best setting of anything of all time, but the new city in the sky "Columbia" is a great setting too, especially because of the sky lines. The gameplay wasn't the most exciting thing in the world, but the story line was better than the other Bioshocks and pretty much almost ever other game I've played or even movie I watched it was that good. The only truly bad part about the game is that it didn't take long at all to beat. At least there is more DLC coming out to expand the story.

Phenomenal Game
BIoshock Infinite is the greatest role-playing game since Skyrim and Arkham CIty. The overall gameplay time was about 12 hours for me on normal. THe story in fantastic and full of twists and turns. THe ending packs another great aspect that really makes it all the more intriguing. If you are thinking about buying this don't think about it just get it. THis game is definintly worth it.
