Good for Eurobeat or Bemani Fans
Dance Masters has good music for those of us who are into Eurobeat or Bemani style games. There are several older ParaPara songs with dances that are true to the actual routines. And there are some songs that are also on DDR, Pump It Up, or ITG (A Geisha's Dream and Kimono Princess). I wouldn't say it's the best dance game as far as design or playability, but it definately has my favorite music. If you want to dance to American pop, buy Dance Central, if you want something a little more unique, this game has great music (although a somewhat limited selection.)

Good for people who enjoy old music
Honestly I dont like this game. Probably because I think that most people who buy dance games want to listen to new music. All of these songs are 80's song if not older. I've never heard any of these songs until I played this game. Ever heard of a song called A Geisha's Dream or Night of Fire. If you're from this generation probably not. You'd be better off getting Just Dance 3 or Dance Central.

Dance central is better
this game is more into where you are on screen where as dance central pays more atention to the actual moves.

Pump it up!
Many people have over looked this gem. This game is great fun. It is Dance dance Revolution with your whole body :P You can even dance with people online unlike Dance Central, and you dance at the same time during multiplayer also unlike Dance Central. The soundtrack is very upbeat and Japanese, which can turn people off. Especially since there is not a mode to learn the moves, which is fine, because i don't recall one being in ddr. Great buy!

Simple Fun
I've read other reviews and it's true--there are no tutorials and the dance moves are hard. But, it is fun if you don't take it too seriously. Though the music was written just for this game (nothing you would hear on the radio), it is hilarious to try to imitate what you see. Even my mom has gotten in on the act and we were laughing like crazy. It's cool to see yourself onscreen, also. I recommend this for anyone who wants to just have fun without needing to have the game teach you specific steps. I'm not trying to be a dance pro. . . I just want to "get my game on."

Do not waste your money!!
I tried this game out and did not like it at all. Dance central is better but I don't like that either compared to Just Dance on the Wii. This game here SUCKS!!! You have to learn the steps by constantly playing over and over. The moves are beyond hard and the music isn't any music you would here playing on the radio.Total disappointment by far!

This game is a joke
One of the most ridiculous dance games ever made. Horrible music, horrible dances, just all around horrible. Stick with Dance Central or even Dance Paradise.

In some ways better than Dance Central. 2playes
I put this game on par with Dance Central. Ok, the negative thing is that you have to learn the steps as you play because it dont have a practice mode or post cards with upcoming dance steps. But you know what? Its fun either way.The music is more Dance Revolution, Japanese influence. Another thing= 2 PLAYERS PLAY AT THE SAME TIME! And is a blast that you are seeing YOURSELF AND THE SECOND PLAYER AT THE SCREEN AS YOU WERE PART OF THE DANCE STAFF!i
