I Don't Understand These Bad Reviews
I have no idea why this game would get any bad comments. This is the perfect game for tennis lovers. This has to be one of the most realistic sport games I have ever played. The graphics are exceptional and the gameplay is excellent. The ESPN comentary somewhat gets annoying after a while but it's still pretty cool. I don't know who wouldn't like this game other than maybe someone who likes more thrilling sport games, like Madden and NHL. This is the best tennis game on the market by far and EA is doing a good job on the scenery and gameplay. The game could use some minor adjustments, but other than that why wouldn't you get this game?

Finally... an authentic tennis sim
This is the most realistic video game to date, as every player has real life counterparts, grunts, and an AI system that separates every player from another. Movement needs work, commentary is dull, as Pat Cash and John McEnroe are as dull as ever. This is the first tennis video game with all four grand slam tournaments, and I have to say, each tournament is authentic, has great backdrops, and the emotion is very realistic. This game would be a 9 out 10 if commentary was decent and movement was better. Overall, the game is great, with a few flaws, but only a few exceptions subtract from the otherwise great experience.

honest review.
First of all I love Grand Slam Tennis 2. I constantly play this game and have lots of fun. What I enjoy most is the gameplay. Simple mechanics for a simple game. But honestly this game could have been better. The players hit extremely unrealistic shots which is OK for me, but would drive a real tennis fan crazy. The game is presented to be a sim but its very arcade like, which is good for me but bad for those who want a sim. I felt the campaign was too easy and lacked something. Also the faces for some of the pros were not very good. Overall this is very good for people who don't watch tennis, but a disaster for die hard tennis fans who are still searching for the perfect tennis game. I think Grand Slam Tennis is an excellent entry level game, its a lot of fun, but it only deserves a very very gracious 8.

I don't understand these good reviews
I see a lot of positive comments about this game, when they are absolutely without merit. Anyone who plays tennis and even follows it lightly will realize that this game is bad. The mechanics and tactics are unrealistic. On top of that none of the pros move like their real life counterparts. How is SEGA able to simulate real life movement, but the juggernaut known as EA is not? Plus, the roster is lacking. I just don't understand how they are unable to sign pros to the game. I'm pretty sure they would be able to sign them through their ATP and WTA contracts and not need to go to each pro individually. It would be the same as EA going to the NFL for all of the players on team rosters, rather than going to each player. I guess it comes down to money and the fact that tennis doesn't (at least not at the moment) bring in a lot of revenue. The Catch 22 in this scenario though is that you won't get a large fan base with a poorly made game. Maybe next time EA. One more thing... You could never toss a serve so rediculously low and consistently hit it over 100 mph let alone 130 mph. FAIL

Finally, A Tennis Game that is worthy
This is hands down the best tennis game all around since Top Spin 2 a few years ago. This one has actual tennis pros past and present. EA Sports really put time and effort in this game. Recommend to all Xbox 360 Gamers. Online setup resembles the hub and lobby areas of Fifa 12.

The EA takeover.
This game is for Nintendo Wii and Play Station Move but will NOT be for Kinect. Simple enough Wii and PS Move have something you can grab like a tennis racquet, Kinect doesn't. It would take a lot more development to perfect this kind of gameplay for Kinect, if possible at all. So we have to wait because Kinect is more complex. This game will be anything but boring unless you plan on playing amateur which I out grew very quickly on the demo. Also EA has developed new computer AI strategy that adjust to what you do and changes according to your gameplay. So a game that seems simple like tennis - on pro can turn into a complex strategy battle. This will be a nice change of pace from the games I usually buy.

Absolutely Awesome
I felt that this game is as close to realistic that it could possibly be. If your not into all sports please try this one. I assure you, you will not be disappointed.

kinect
this better be for kinect. it would get boring if you use a controller. or they could make it for both like future soldier and forza 4
