Halo 4 surpassed what I expected of it, and left me only wanting more. The replay value is perfect!!

Dont listen to elitists.
"True" Halo fans claim this is not a real Halo, and that it's horrible. Its really not a bad game. My only distaste is they borrowed a bit too much from CoD, but Halo needed a fast pace. The game was the exact same thing since the original, which isnt a bad thing, and Reach re-invigorated it somewhat but had terrible maps, and overall was the worst Halo so far. Halo 4 is in my mind the best Halo since Halo 2. Its the only one since Halo 2 to do something unique in the series. My verdict: this game is very enjoyable, but online is boring without a friend. The amount of people that double team you online is very rage inducing, so DONT play this game solo. Campaign was the best in the series as well, and especially awesome Co-op. Dont listen to "true" Halo fans, they just want to follow the bandwagon with other "true" fans so people think they are a true fan. True fans stick with a series through and through.

It's great.
I'm a huge fan of Halo games, and this one is no disappointment. I've played the original Halo 1 game up until this one, and I guess you could classify me as a die-hard Halo fan. I'd recommend this game to anyone. How can you not love Halo?

Alright people say this game "sucked" and was the worst Halo ever, but just remember there is no way this was worse than Wars. now the matchmaking and custom games yes was way to similar to COD. and i was extremely angry they took out the falcon and or Hornet. but the campaign was flawless it was a little overrated and I was hoping for a little better. but all and all it was a good campaign which is all i ever usually look for in Halo, if you are looking for a good halo matchmaking. get Halo Reach

Halo 4, Master Chief is BACK!
Master chief is back in Halo 4! This game had AWESOME Graphics and was "most anticipated game of 2012" and winner of 30 industry awards. I LOVE THIS GAME!

Best Xbox 360 game yet.
This game is gorgeous hands down. The graphics are beautiful and so detailed while the audio is amazing you can hear Master chiefs every move this game is rich of audio and the gameplay is smooth and fast pasted. I would recommend this to every halo and FPS fan.

Worst in the series.
Short and sweet, the campaign is well done. They do a great job introducing Chief as a personality, something I was really skeptical on was his newfound "characterization". The enemies and their tactics are old and tired, however, and the new threat facing the player are simply quicker, bigger bullet sponges. The multiplayer is terrible. Instead of sticking with Reach-style AA loadouts, or simply H3 style fair starts, we now have the standard loadout/perk system. It wouldn't be so bad, if it had a place in the Halo universe. You select from 6 primary guns, 3 secondaries, 3 grenade types and a couple different perks. The perks, however, are mostly basic functions of the previous games, stripped away and offered back as "specializations", such as the ability to pick up grenades, or the shield recharge rate. The weapon balance is atrocious. The game is plagued with so much auto-aim on certain weapons, it renders the other weapons useless, or leaves the player with the lack of incentive. The aesthetic of the new armor struggles for identity. Instead of the typical halo "function over form" power armor, now we have grandiose designs that look inspired by every game but the Halo universe. All in all, as an attempt at your wallet by microsoft, Halo 4 is the worst game in the franchise's history.

Shameful...
To call this a halo game is to make the whole series look shameful, 343 seemingly created another call of duty game with the looks of halo. Graphics and action will only take a game so far, with lack of story and unoriginal gameplay Halo 4 is not recommended for true gamers, or halo fans. The multiplayer is similar to COD in many ways, it generates unfair gameplay, OP weapons and no skill required, the only requirement in this game is to have a high level than other players, and a bigger and better gun. Some other features that seem like COD is the fact of creating class/loadout giving the high up rankers a big advantage for the lower ranks since they can buy (with spartan points similar to black ops 2's unlock tokens.) armor upgrades and weapons, rather in other halo games where you would usually spawn with the same weapon as your enemy and have to scavenge for weapons across the map, forcing you to memorize where weapons are, unlike that in halo 4 you get the COD equivalent of care packages called ordinance drops creating an atmosphere of randomness, since (if gotten enough kills) can said player drop anywhere giving the player no purpose of going through the map to memorize strategic points where weapons spawn, the list goes on. My recommendation is to buy the original games from Bungie from Halo 3, to even the lowly game of Reach.
