You Deserve This Game
I played the trial to this so i don't really know how lasting appeal is, but otherwise everything else, is almost PERFECT! The controls make even a beginner gamer (3-6?) look like they know what they doing, the graphics are pretty good for a xbox and ps2 game, and the sounds never lag they actually happen when they are performed, PLUS if you look at the xbox and ps2 price which is $39.99 that makes this 3x as better! Please go to the nearest gamestop, or gas-station, wherever microsoft points are sold, come home, turn you 360 on, go to the game marketplace, and GET THIS GAME!

Amazing game 11 years later that means something
I started playing this game when I was 5 years old and I loved it then but now it is still one of my favorite games. Any fan of fighting games should play this game, I have absolutely no doubt that you will love this game and for 15 dollars.

Great Game, Great price, Buy it now!
This game is one of my better purchases for the XBL arcade, I only wish I had an Arcade stick, it would make this game so much better... Time to save up to it I guess.

A Timeless Staple For Fighting Fans
When "Marvel Vs. Capcom 2" first appeared in the year 2000, I had my reservations about it. I didn't like the simplifed control scheme because it restricted options for the player on many levels, nor did I care for the squashed, lo-res sprites...but the sheer number of characters eventually steered me away from the first MvC. All things considered, there's really only one thing broken with MvC2...and that's the character balancing. Tournament buffs know all too well that Sentinel, Storm, Magneto, Cable, and Iron Man are much more powerful than the rest of the cast when used correctly. You won't find any character re-balancing with this XBLA version, but what you will find is cleaned up, hi-res visuals that vibe much better with your HD set-up, online play, and all of the slowdown-free action from the arcade version. Now that "Marvel Vs. Capcom 3" is here, MvC2 will no doubt receive less attention...but there's still plenty of reasons to go back to it. There's several fan favorites in MvC2 that aren't present in the new one (not yet, at least), and the old control scheme is still preferred by many players. Long story short: If you love 2D fighting games and somehow missed out on this excellent title, I highly recommend it!
