This game is not like other MGS games, but it is like other popular games such as bayonetta and with such a popular MGS character, it should be a good game. The only fault anyone can find so far is the ever changing release date.

A Different kind of Metal Gear game. I must admit it's not what I was suspecting but it's still a game worth a try. I wouldn't mind trying a different style to the MGS franchise. It would have been cool if he was a ninja instead of a samurai but what fun would that be?

I see no reason for people to hate on this. just because it not solid doesn't mean it isn't going to be good. I am going to laugh if this game out sells the other metal gear games. the style is different which is a nice change. i hope it comes with a special edition of some sort because a figurine or a shirt would be cool to have. also Kojima wouldn't just throw it together and say its good. you know they are making it as flawless as possible so give it a chance and just play it before you say it is a horrible game.

I Know That This Game Is Not Like The Other Metal Gear Solids, Maybe Because Its Not, They Took Solid Of The Name Because Its Different From The Others, Snake Is A Stealthy Charictor, Do You Think Raiden Can Be Stealthy? Hes Half Robot Carrying A Sword. Remember How Different We Thought MGS3 Was Than 1 & 2, And It Still Turned Out To Be A Great Game.

No longer Metal Gear.

This looks like its going to bomb soon as it hits.

Well... Might as well be ninja gaiden now, takes 100% of the focus off of military stealth tactics and combat strategy. not only that, from what i can gather there wont be any gun play by the player in this latest installment.

Instead of going through all of this trouble they should have just released MGS:4 for xbox 360 along with the hd collection. that would make a bigger impact then this ninja garbage.

with how many times this game has been pushed back I'm a little worried about how good it will be when it finally comes out, however one thing I thought of after watching the new trailer at the VGAs was that the gameplay looked really good, its definitely different from any metal gear game before in that it is not a stealth game but seems to be a hack-and-slash game, I believe it is for this reason that they changed the name from Metal Gear Solid: Rising to Metal Gear Rising: Revengance, another thing I thought of is that with the new moniker, Rising, there is a chance that it is the start of a new series of Metal Gear games, that all depends on how well the game does though, overall I am highly enthusiastic about this game and am really looking forward to it
