Its good, but not the best
I like the mecaniac where you can play as spidy's foes. the game is a good game, but not the best. Ive seen better graphics on other games. But it is very fun to play as a villan and really good for yonger kids

Not what I hoped for in a Spiderman game
I bought this game not knowing what I was purchasing, every Spiderman game I've ever played up untill now has been open world, and who doesn't like an open world superhero game? I thought this game would be just that. Maybe its just how I'm so used to other Spiderman games that just made this one look bad... or maybe this game really was terrible. It may be good for ages 5-8, and even then, it won't last long.

maximum-boringness
This game kinda stinks after the first 3 levels. they just do the same thing over and over and over agian. its kinda anoying. and once you beat it, it overly sucks. but i guess you could use it for some free G points, return it, and get another game at Gamestop. but overall, it sucks.

Quick, boring, repetitive.
This game took maybe 3 hours to beat. It was extremely repetitive. This game was super boring! Do not buy this game!

WHY ACTIVISION?!?!??
This game feels sorta lazy. The achievements (THERE'S ONLY TWELVE?!??!) only took as long as it took to beat the game (2-3 hours) The graphics, okay, maybe original xbox worthy at best. There wasn't really much music, mostly the sounds of where you were. I liked the storyline though, the only part that didn't make sense was how the other marvel characters randomly fit in. TO me, that does not make much sense. There are very few upsides though. I think the co-op play was a cool touch, along with the upgradeable abilities. I also enjoyed searching for the little coins and knick-knacks for the achievements. I wouldn't recommend this to one of my buddies, but maybe for one of their little sons'. Not a bad game for a beginning gamer or for a 5-10 year old, or if you're looking for an easy 1000gs.

weak and not held up
when i first rented this game, i thought it might be great. In the begining though, it was a little difficult to progress. plus, the storyline was absolutely pitiful. it was nothing like the spiderman that i heard of. it was the middle of the game that someone might have liked, because you got more powerful attacks and allies to help you. It was so weak when the characters talked, i mean that it did't even sound good. it was basicaly cartoony. It might have been a 6 on the challenge scale for new players, but as a hard core gamer myself, i rated it a 3. The controls weren't trash, but they weren't all great either. Mainly though, the attack controls worked better and faster than most games i played. Graphics. The XBOX has very good graphics by several different standards, but this game was -10. There was no detail at all, and it turned beatuiful ancient tombs into a big yellow blob. great forests into weak tall sticks. And in level 5, all four parts were so dark, i couln't see anything at all! If a sequal came out, i hope it would add more realistic detail to the game. The game was very short and should be much longer with more levels and more characters.

Great games for kids!!
This is a great game, but it's not meant to be for just anyone. It's designed to be cartoony because it was intended for kids, and it is based on a Spider-man cartoon show designed for kids. It's repetitive, but the enemies do become more difficult as the game goes on. It's a great game for co-op play. You can upgrade Spider-man as well as unlock and upgrade 13 playable characters that work as "sidekicks." If you're overly serious about gaming, don't bother; this is not the same Spider-man as you'd see in "Spider-man 3" for the Xbox 360. But if you want a fun, light-hearted game to play, or a gift for your kids (especially if you want them to play together), then this game is an excellent choice. It's very simple, but it's still enjoyable.

Hated it
Got it for my birthday, i'd rather have the 20 dollars they spent on it. I don't know where to begin. I attempted hard to enjoy it. It's WAY to simplistic, very repetitive. My 7 year old daughter can play it. So if you are getting it for children then go for it. Basically you press B a lot. Here is the levels as I see it... I can't bare to go past the second level. You go to a room, door closes, spidey says something stupid, then you fight 6-8 guys, you beat them, door opens, then you go to the next area, same thing happens. The graphics are very bad being it's on a xbox 360, I would expect it from the original xbox or ps2. Might not look bad on a regular tv, but looks like garbage on my hdtv. The storyline is not engaging at all. The sound is ok, nothing revolutionary by any means, and spidey says the same things over and over and over. Overall it seems they wanted to make money off the spiderman franchise without any other thought then getting money from fans, and not actually thinking about making a good game. Sorry for those that liked it. I wouldn't waste my money on it to buy or even rent. Just stay away from it. If I was a reviewer I would give it a half a star out of 5.
