The Definitive Snowboarding Experience
This is a snowboarding games that takes realism to the next level. Add in the realistic aspects of Amped and Amped 2 for the Xbox, then sprinkle on complex but intuitive controls from the Skate series, which comes together to form a snowboarding experience for fans of the sport. Shaun White's game disappointed. The latest SSX didn't live up to the hype. However, Stoked is everything a boarder could want and more. This is one heck of a game. Stoked: Big Air Edition is a more refined and polished version of Stoked, which means smoother controls, smoother jibbing, better graphics, 2 new mountains added to the one's that were already there, and more.

Don't bother
The controls are horrible, the hit boxes for the rails are sloppy, the tutorial for teaching you the basics inadequate, and the speed at which you do spins and flips unreliable. If you're looking for a great snowboarding game for your 360 check out Amped 3, much better interface, graphics, player customization and physics. There was a reason Stoked came out as a $30 game when it was new. Don't fall for it!

Worst snowboarding game i ever played
The controllers suck for the game. I think SSX is the best snowboarding game ever made

Best snowboarding game I have ever played.
I have played and own SSX Tricky, SSX On Tour and two Amped titles for the original xbox. Xbox 360 really doesn't have any snowboarding games besides Amped 3 and Shawn White's Snowboarding. I read some reviews in my issue of Official Xbox Magazine and was pleasantly surprised to see that Stoked was rated higher than Shawn White's Snowboarding. I soon found out why when I picked up a copy of the Big Air Edition (which I would get over the standard copy, this one has more gear and two mountains, and an EXTREMELY helpful guide on the screen that clearly shows you how to do a trick.) At first, I was somewhat skeptical, but once the music started playing and I began creating my snowboarder I knew I had stumbled on to something special. The game kind of starts off slow, like most new games. But once I got the hang of it and started picking up sponsors (Burton, Billabong, Quiksilver, Salomon, and Volcom to name a few...there are tons of sponsors that are grouped into different categories, from accessories, body (clothing), and boards.). There is PLENTY of things to do, I haven't gotten board yet and I am constantly looking for the next big cliff to jump off of. I wish the sense of speed was a little bit more fluid, and i wish they could eliminate some of the trees. There are some parts where there are tons of trees and I can't help but hit them. But, this is just a minor nuisance that I'm getting better at dodging. Some relate this to Skate. I played the first Skate and absolutely loved the fluidity and ease. I was no longer a tony hawk fan after I played Skate. Stoked has done the same for me and the SSX series. It isn't flicking the right stick quickly like in Skate, it is holding the stick. And they are all straight to the side (no swooping movements of the right stick that are difficult to achieve perfectly). BUY THIS GAME! You won't regret it. P.S. Ignore the Team/Player Variety...it doesn't really apply here.

Stoked: Big Air Edition is the definitive snowboarding experience!
Stoked: Big Air Edition comes from a little developer by the name of Bongfish. It's a tweaked and tuned version of the original Stoked, plus it adds in 2 huge new mountains, which comes to 7 absolutely gigantic mountains in total, and on top of that, Big Air Edition also features better snowboarding physics, new 2010 gear, racing events, park objects, marked trails, and more refined riding mechanics. The original Stoked had none of this. The visuals in Big Air Edition are crisp and wonderful. The mountains really come alive with the dynamic weather system that has been implemented in this game. Sometimes events will even be marked with an icon that tells you that you should wait until more snow is covering the ground. You can still partake in these events in any condition, but it'll be easier if you're riding in the right condition for that certain event. The wind also blows the snow and trees around. This dynamic weather makes riding on the mountains feel very realistic and alive, not static and boring like in other snowboarding titles. Each mountain is also huge and has 10 or so marked runs with a huge number of events on each run. After beating the high score on each run for a mountain (50,000), you gain the ability to jump in the helicopter and fly it around to absolutely any spot you desire. Big Air Edition keeps the backcountry runs that the original release was known for, but it also has many runs that are littered with park objects now. This is a first for Stoked, because the original was all backcountry. There are many rails and ramps to hit, especially in LAAX. This game also features K2, which is downright scary to ride on in the game. The gameplay mechanics here are spot on. The control system has been a bit refined from the original release. It works very much like Skate. You use the 2 analog sticks and triggers for tricks. It's very simple and intuitive. And unlike the original where you had to check the 'Grab Bible' if you weren't sure how to do a trick, Big Air Edition offers a controller display in the lefthand corner when you select an event that requires certain tricks and it displays the proper commands for each trick. All in all, Stoked: Big Air Edition is an atmospheric and generally polished snowboarding experience that takes inspiration from Amped and Skate, then it wraps in up all in one delicious package. Reviews were right, this game is a success. 1UP gave it an A- and rightfully so. You'd never expect such a quality title from an indie dev and publisher like this, but Stoked: Big Air Edition is the #1 reviewed snowboarding title of this generation (Metacritic average). Do not pass this title up. Bongfish deserves to get recognized for putting their heart and soul into such an amazing title.

better version
This is going to be a much better version of Stoked that has balance. First one was good, but lacked polish and refinements. I think those who didn't show much interest for the first or lost it quickly after playing the first through, will change their mind once they try Big Air out. The whole game will feel and play so much better
