Worthwhile Investment
I bought this game after a friend suggested it about 3 months after it was released. I took his advice and went to my local GameStop to buy it a few days later. During this time I was low on cash, so I had planned to buy it, beat it, and sell it at a profitable price. Those plans fell through when I actually started playing the game. I beat it on the normal difficulty, not too hard, not too easy. I loved it so much that I decided to beat it on the highest difficulty as well. Then, I did a speed-run of it. After that, I did a quality play-through to see how well I could complete the game (deaths, kills, and collection wise). I played the heck out of it and soon allowed a good friend of mine to take it off my hands at no cost, as long as when he was done with it, he wasn't to sell it. The game has been passed around from my group of friends to another group of friends, until I moved and it turned up in the hands of a new friend of mine. I'm not even joking. The same Serial Number, same sharpie mark I left on it, and everything. I was impressed and it was awesome. He moved across the country and I'm glad to say that he is spreading it in a completely new part of the country. I love this game.

bullet curve is ossim
you will seriously abuse that ability, it's really cool when it has a slow mo bullet cam with some of the shots. The gameplay is like gears of war (then again most 3rd person shooters nowadays are). Occasionally you do like this cool rapid kill thing where your character Wesley or his father Cross, do killer acrobatics and bullet dodges while killing like 10 men at a time. This game is really good with action and when you get used to the abilities you'll be dropping bad guys like flies.

Fun
I bought this game around its launch, for the retail price of $59.99. Seeing as I was a kid then (about 13), I had no problem with that. Since this game has been out for about 3 years now, it has dropped in price to a whopping $10. Go buy it. It's most certainly fun, and it continues the story right from where the movie left off.

freakin awesome but short as hell!
I've been dying to play this game ever since i saw the preview in the wanted dvd. The game play is amazing and the bullet curving is more epic than the movie. the fact that u can play as wesley or cross makes this game better than first expected. the storyline is great but its just too damn short which will really piss u off if your really getting into it. but the replay value is good, you could probably replay this game over and over many times without getting bored. the challenge is'nt much but u can always set the difficulty settings to your pleasing. so overall, this games challenge depends on how high u set the difficulty, the gameplay is amazing, fun, cool, the story is is very interesting if u pay close attention. so i recommend this game to anyone who loves cool epic slow-mo shooters.

awesome game
this game is awesome. It is a sweet action game with good graphics. The only bad thing is the challenge. The so is smart but they just don't kill you easy. But you can turn up the difficulty. I am dissapointed there is no mulitplayer in it. It could have a good online mode but it just doesn't that is very dissapointing to someone like me who plays shooters and likes a cool multiplayer battle. Over all the game is pretty short you blaze through the levels with ease. If you were a fan of the movie like me you would most likely enjoy this game. It is fast paced and has nasty adreniline moves. That is how you can curve bullets and shoot while switching cover. There is a boss in almost all the levels. My favorite part is the slow mo sequences you have to shoot certain enemies and shoot the bullets they shoot at you. The melée attacks are also awesome. If you go behind an enemy you can grab him and use him as a shield. Overall I give this game an 8.5 out of 10

Great Game
Unfortunatly, I rented this game. But now I'm definitely going out to buy it soon. :) This game has an AMAZING story line to it. It's way fun, and very easy to get addicted too. If your into Saints Row you'll definitely love this game. It's really cool how you can curve your bullets, so you can hit an enemy whose behind a block or car. I would strongly recomend you to try this game out. Also it's way neat how if you play the game on Normal you can get both Normal and Easy achivements unlocked while doing the game once. So if your a BIG achivement hunter like I am this game is probably the easiest to get achivements. But there is one flaw out of the whole game. The story line is a bit...weird. But yet it's fun. As well as starting out in the game can be a bit difficult. But once you get a hang of things you can easily go through the game. (I was quite sad when I had to return it. I liked it THAT much.)

Great game for a short time
All together wanted is a great game but it lasts about 2 and a half hours. the graphics are great they did a great job of making wesley, cross, pekwarsky, and the other characters that weren't in the movie. the story is really interesting you can really get drawn in if you pay attention to the cutscenes. there are slow motion events in which you have to shoot the bullets coming at you and the dude that shot them or you die or take a lot of damage. there are about 2 turret sequences which last abou 2 minutes each and they are pretty hard but not impossible to do. there are also around 2 sniping sequences which are pretty fun, and you dont have to worry about reloading. overall wanted is a great game and anyone who enjoys fast paced shooters should play it.

A Cool Time While It Lasts...Its Just Doesnt Last Long.
Developer Grin definately nailed the bending bullets aspect of Wanted but unfortunately the game itself is RIDICULOUSLY SHORT. I'm talking about 4 hours at the absolute most. Its not the one of the very best 3rd person shooters out there but you will have a good/decent time while it lasts and at the very least you should give it a rent. It takes place after the movie with Wesley trying to find and kill The Immortal. Gameplay wise its really just moving from one area to the next, taking/finding cover, kill all the dudes in the area, lather rinse repeat. Whats kinda cool is you get to play with his father in flashback missions that explains his background and why Wesley is in the situation that he's in. Grin's solution to bending the bullets was great, you just hold the RB button and a red line displays on screen, you move the right analog on to bend the line. If the line is red that means you dont have a clear shoot on the target, if its white then FIRE AWAY! One thing that REALLY annoyed me was that Grin FORCES you to play the game no less then 5 times to snag the entire 1000 points. I guess they did that because they knew that the game was incredibly short to begin with so they had to give it some type of replayability. You have to beat the game on normal first (that unlocks the hard mode), then after getting the achievement for beating it on hard, you have to do it again in "headshot" mode (getting a certain amount of headshots in order to clear each stage) for an achievement, then you have to beat it on "close combat" mode (you have to stab a certain amount of people in order to clear each stage) for an achievement, and then you also have to beat it in "Time Attack" mode (beating it as fast as you can) for another achievement. Thats INCREDIBLY LAME and a very cheap way to increase replayability. If your not an achievement junkie then these modes wont bother you, but if you are be prepared to run through the game no less then 5 times. Other then that Wanted: Weapons of Fate is a decent afternoon killer but it really isnt much more then that. If your really interested rent it or just wait for the price to drop.
