this is a pretty good controller. it works fine for third person games and first person games. but it's better for first person games and the start button is not that well placed. but it's pretty good.

Better Than The 'Duke'
As another reviwer said, this website says "style and color may vary", but I am here to review the item pictured, the Xbox Controller S. This is a much smaller, easier to use version of the original 'Duke' controller. Apparently Microsoft went over the Duke and saw all problem and fixed them. It's smaller, has a longer cord, the black, white, start, and select buttons have been moved to easier places to hit. Unforutunatly, the controller is less durable than the Duke, and will eventually say that the controller is unplugged when it's not. This is annoying, and has happened 3 times to me. But, it does not happen for a long while. This is the best WIRED controller for the Xbox, but the Gamestop Edge controller is wireless, and more durable. The is reccomended.

This is a durable controller.
Of all the controllers I have used, this one has been the most durable. It can withstand most kinds of abuse. Trust me, I know. Be careful about brands, though; if you're trying to get a Microsoft-brand controller, you might just get a Gamestop controller. Just a warning! Thanks for reading my review; thumbs up if you think it was helpful!

Off-brand controllers
The item description has a disclaimer that says "Actual style, color, and/or manufacturer may vary." They are not kidding. I ordered six of these, and received two Madcatz, three Gamestop, and one Titan branded controller. If you're looking for a Microsoft branded controller, you may want to look elsewhere.
